I'm not convinced about Origi's attitude, and anything less than full commitment just won't suit Klopp.
So many rumours going around that another Monday transfer is likely... Now this one will get me excited. Looks absolute quality. Strong player so should suit the PL perfectly....
Liverpool are NOT on the brink of concluding a deal for Nabil Fekir – but remain determined to snap up the £60million-rated Lyon midfielder. (@LivEchoLFC)
May I ask for examples of where you felt Origi’s attitude and commitment are not at the level required?
No specific examples, I don't keep notes. It's an overall impression I have. It just seems that he's too much of a mood player. I could be wrong.
Ok. The reason I ask is because it reminds me of the criticism that Sturridge receives, in that he’s lazy, arrogant, bad attitude. Also similar to the horrible criticism that sterling receives from the media.
No mate, I always supported Sturridge. I think he's a talented footballer whose career has been blighted by his body's fragility. Tbh, I'm not even saying I think Origi is unwilling as such - just that he's one of those who needs to be in the right frame of mind. I'd be happy with him staying, but he's a long way off our current front 3.
He's not a key player now but he was not too long ago. I can't make my mind up on Lallana TBH. It's a squad game and he offers something most of our midfielders don't, however he also lacks a end product too. He can also play up top at times although I think he's poor out wide too. I'm 50:50 on whether he stays or goes.
Yep, sign quality players that improve the first team and let the squad sort itself. Theoretically, the squad gets better as a result.
Origi suffers because he's not as energetic or willing to run as our other forwards. Nor does he get enough goals to warrant that effort level (unlike Studge). As a backup, I don't mind him but it wouldn't fill me with confidence seeing him come off the bench when chasing a game.
They're both young but past the age where youth can be blamed for mistakes. I like Ings, remove the injuries and I think he could/would be a decent forward. If we kept one over the other I'd keep Ings.
so imo any story that says fekir is just nuts as most say he is going to turn up at.melwood. it's June. the world cup camps are in full swing.... ino theres no chance of a deal. international.managers dont want it
Wouldnt say they all donwhat Lallana does. Keita is box to box apparently. Fekir is most similar and Ox is more a runner and drive. Lallana actually links up between the midfield and forwards. Id much rather have Lallana on the bench to bring on than not. Does make me laigh everyone saying how weve been short of options this year especially in midfield but is happy for us to get rid of players who have been first team players
Thata the point. No ones saying he gets into strongest squad but he is definitely a good option to have.
Liverpool have responded to those latest Nabil Fekir transfer rumour https://www.liverpoolecho.co.uk/spo...verpool-responded-those-latest-nabil-14737757
you can Google klopp saying the guy has no rhythm at one stage and given klopp ****ed him out on loan I think you only need then see what his manager's in France and Germany have said about his ethic as well there's lots and lots of evidence of this if you care to look
