No way on earth we're keeping Bowen, Bruce will take him at Villa if no one better comes in for him, 7mil or so and Ehab will be creaming his pants. Grosicki off too, which with Wilson having gone and Abel jacking it in is going to leave us with so little creativity.

I struggle to wish relegation on City, but at least it would have been clear that the fault lies with the owners
My worry is we’ll go down at the end of this year when the parachute payments are stopping and they’ll manage to palm us off to someone so they can use the sale and new owners as the excuse for no incomings in the winter
Giving them their ultimate desire of walking away with too big a loss and at the same time being able to say they’d told us so and look how **** we’ll be without them
So on balance I wish we’d gone down already too
These are the last of the assets they can sell/strip.
At that point with I expect very poor attendances we will be losing money on a week to week basis. Is that the time they will want to sell as quickly as possible.
The time they’ll want to sell quickly is the exact moment that they get the last parachute payment
The pleb will know that we have to stay up for them to have any chance of a sale. He won' invest his own money but I think he will let Adkins spend some money from sales. I fully expect us to sign:
CB: out of contract (maybe Hobbs)
CB: cheap from lower division
RB: lichaj or some other out of favour player
Versitile defender - Niall Mason or Tom Flanagan (to cover whole defence)
CM - out of contract
Winger: out of contract - Adelakun
Can't see us spending more then 5m on these combined which will be off set by sale of Grosicki.
Next season, with no parachute payments coming and after creaming enough from the club the Allams will finally sell up

He signed a new contract, the asking price would be higher than we would be willing to pay.

Hobbs is very good player.

And nothing has changed for the better, I don't see why it will in January.

Do you think he might actually keep one of his promises and give the club away? I don't see a buyer at the price he wants to sell for.
When I first saw him playing for Leicester against us I was amazed that he was still in the Championship, for one so young I thought he looked a really assured defender and reader of the game - he's pretty much ****ed now though, played less than 50 matches for Forest since he signed permanently for them in 2014
With the parachute money trousered and all our good players gone, leaving us with a very weak squad, I expect that £70m asking price will come tumbling down. We'll have nothing much to sell.
