We agreed something similar as part of Fryatt's transfer didn't we? That Leicester wouldn't agree the deal before January 1st when we were due to play them?

A club refusing to sell a goal scorer to a team they're about to play until after the game, is a little bit different to a player refusing to sign a contract unless he doesn't have to play against his old club.

It is. But it’s still bollocks. The point of a player leaving is that they no longer associate themselves with a club.

Terry? He has a lass come round his house to cut his toenails. Do we really need more evidence of ****itude than that?

If City were (just go with me here) in a position where a win would win them the PL, and I wasn't crap at football and played for the opposition, as much as I would want City to beat us, I would still play and try to win for my team.

He's a ****, pure and simple.
Corrected for you.

Has this even been confirmed by the club, Bruce or Terry?

Bruce's comments look tongue in cheek and every article relies on speculation rather than actual sources.

Seems like some journalist is taking you all for a ride, as others have said, it's not even possible to sign such a contract.

Good opportunity to slag off a ****er though <cheers>

Considering he admitted himself that he signed for Villa so he wouldn't have to play against Chelsea, I have absolutely no doubt of it genuinity..

I don't see why it should be part of his contract.

All he has to do is pick up a niggling injury a couple of days before, that's how it's normally done when a player doesn't
fancy a particular game.

The only good thing John Terry ever did in his life was allow himself to get kicked in the head by Diaby. It's my favourite moment in football and never fails to cheer me up.
