Agree mostly but you have to factor in the salary vs the state of the club no matter the wage would you want to be part of this as a player?

A lot of factors would come into play for me before I chose to stay or move on Tbf and unfortunately I'm not in the enviable position of any of the players offerd deals

I don't get why Moses owes us anything.

The club continued to pay a contract they where legally obliged to play. If Ehab could of got out of paying it he would of done.

They could have Had him treated on the nhs rather then the best medical people available

I’d definitely have preferred to keep Hernandez, Meyler, Larsson and Odubajo, though I don’t think there was a chance of Abel staying.

Hernandez most definitely, Meyler maybe it's just time for him to move on, Larsson another year same with Moses as we haven't a clue if he will stay fit.

Rattled haha far from it, I'm not the one getting touchy when a poster knows a little bit of info and decides to share. It's bewildering how it upsets some on the board when a new member decides to share what they know. I seem to remember my first post 2 weeks ago regarding Abel going to Leeds as outlandish and the laughable quips that ensued. Happy to sit back again and watch you all guessing, heaven forbid anybody comes on in the future who happens to have a reliable source..... I will await the quips about being on the sauce
Neatly avoids again.

So one last time tilly.

How much is the miserly contract offer? You know its miserly so...

Would you state to somebody your salaries exact content to anyone outside your family or close friends? Or simply say it's not good enough to retain me I'm afraid?
I wouldn't state my salary content and I don't earn the figures footballers at this level do.

Just because it's not good enough to keep him doesnt make it a measly offer though

We brought a Kenyan over to train with us for two weeks or so last time, good publicity, the chances are we won't take it further than that but you never know.

If Ehab was serious about retaining these 4 players, he would have offered them all contracts in January.

I’m making an educated guess that he didn’t do this (or if he did he tried to do it on the cheap)

Players have a short career and need to maximise their earnings.

Has any player that’s left our club recently thanked Ehab? I can’t recall one player thanking the vice chairman. They thank the fans, thank their team mates, the manager and then leave. Says a lot about the culture.

Culture breeds loyalty. And culture is set from the leader(s) Our culture is rotten.

If only our culture was as good as rotten.

We shouldn't be and I'm glad we arnt going to be paying anyone 40k a week outside the Prem!

If it's true that he's getting that there and goes there then his ambition is obviously fueled by ££ and not football
40k a week and I suppose full pay when not playing, which in his case is most of the time.

If Moses leaves after being offered a deal after 2 full seasons out injured then it says alot about him as a person imo! Most will disagree on sure but he's been extreamly well looked after with the best medical care money can buy and payed extreamly well throughout, allams ****s or not ****s....moses should atleast stay a year and repay a little!
Spot on.
You could have said the same about Snodgrass.
