It's endearing how big a part you think loyalty plays in football for club owners. Clubs use and spit out players at a ridiculous rate, especially young players. Yet as soon as one doesn't sign a contract (and let's face it, from Ehab it isn't going to be a good offer) you instantly slag them off for lack of loyalty. Odd view.

Not so outlandish now it seems, as for only joining 1st May the fact a business I'm close to directly liaises with the players which in turn rendered me unable to comment on matters of confidence therefore it was always best to just witness the board from afar. Now the clients/players are all moving deserting the area much in part thanks to the Allams the business no longer requires such confidentiality and has in turn taken a hit as a direct result of the Allams behavior.

You're getting confused.

I said players often do Stay loyal, you said there isn't any at all. You're wrong. Which is why you keep ignoring my examples.
Giving ash a contract when it wasn't clear he would make it back is a great example of a club showing loyalty, faith, devotion.

Why wouldn't I slag a player off who leaves in what I perceive are selfish circumstances.Isn't the whole,point about been loyal to our club?

Ahh right so you've taken the Bummers route of avoiding all nuance.

So when I said "there's no loyalty in football" you've decided to take this literally and hammer me because of course in the history of football they are times when a player will player for one club only, like Totti.

I won't use generalities in the future when replying to you, but generally I believe clubs don't run on loyalty and neither do players, but that's just my view and saying the odd exception isn't disproving it

I don't think I know any people who try to justify a club ****ing over a player or vice versa. I'm certainly not.

If it's true that he's getting that there and goes there then his ambition is obviously fueled by ££ and not football
 
The Tigers have offered new deals to four players who are due to see their contracts with the Club expire this summer.

Max Clark, Abel Hernandez, Seb Larsson and Moses Odubajo have all been offered the chance to remain a part of Head Coach Nigel Adkins’ squad and are currently considering their options.

Allan McGregor was another offered a new deal, although he opted to return to Glasgow Rangers earlier this week.

The Club is also currently in discussions with Michael Dawson regarding his future, however we can confirm that David Meyler will leave the KCOM Stadium this summer when his current contract expires. Meyler, who initially joined on loan from Sunderland in 2012, made 191 appearances in black and amber, winning two promotions to the Premier League and appearing in the 2014 FA Cup Final.

We would like to thank David for the magnificent service he has given to us and wish him well for the future.

Also leaving the Club this summer are Academy graduates Greg Luer, Greg Olley and Josh Clackstone. Striker Luer made nine senior appearances after making his debut on the opening day of the 2015/16 season, whilst Olley appeared in two League Cup ties. Clackstone’s only senior appearance came in the cup defeat at Doncaster Rovers at the start of 2017/18.

We wish all three players well for the future and thank them for their efforts during their time at the KCOM Stadium.

Whilst those three young players depart, a number of others will be keen to take their opportunity after the Tigers’ Academy announced its retained list for the 2018/19 season.

Five of the current crop of second year Scholars have signed first professional contracts for next season with Josh Thacker, Elliot Holmes, Charlie Andrew, Max Sheaf and Ahmed Salam all stepping up to the Under-23 Development Squad on a full-time basis.

However, Mason Wilson-Rhiney will be allowed to leave the Academy following the expiry of his Scholarship deal.

Robbie McKenzie, Tyler Hamilton, Billy Chadwick and Keane Lewis-Potter are already under contract to be part of the Development Squad for 2018/19, whilst Adam Curry and Lewis Ritson have agreed new one-year deals.

However, the following players will see their time with the Club come to an end when their current contracts expire: James Yates, Will Annan, Ellis Barkworth, Charlie Dunkerley, Jonathan Saltmer, Tom Dyson, Liam Edwards, Jonathan Edwards and Ben Hinchliffe.

The Academy would like to thank those players released for their services, commitment and dedication during their time at the Club, whilst also wishing them every success for the future.

Unfortunately Moses has already rejected the offer, and is out of the building. Got to feel for the lad as he will by some be chastised for not showing loyalty to the club after such a long period out, which I get. However the players will show no loyalty when miserly contracts are offered with the added worry that the squad will only continue to be depleted. These are merely charades by the club to look from the outside they are trying to secure resources if Moses or indeed Abel did take them up on their offers they would do their utmost to derail them. Moses's career needs to get back on track as I believe he would have shone in the ilk of Robertson had he had the chance in the Prem.
Abel has a grudge with Ehab therefore would never sign a contract, not only did Ehab instruct the Manager to leave him out of the squad for the remaining games which in some warped way would make him sign, he informed a Chinese club he had a year left on his contract which quelled his ambition to play out in China. Ehab does not only **** the fans over his staff have to endure his ****wittery also

Hull City are gathering information on Gor Mahia defender Harun Shakava before deciding on whether to bid for his services, Nairobi News has established.
The English side are said to have been impressed with the capabilities of the Kenya international during the friendly match pitting these two teams at Kasarani last Sunday.
Although he missed the first penalty for his team during the post-match shootout, Shakava had a great game at the heart of K'Ogalo's defence.
He effectively marked out the likes of Fraser Campbell, Jarod Bowen and Jon Toral from the game.

"I am told the way it works with English clubs is that they cannot sign you after watching you for only one game. They will have to study your background, videos, work rate, discipline, and possibly invite you for trials before making a decision," a source told Nairobi News.
In his pre-match press conference on Saturday, Hull City coach Nigel Adkins said he was keen to offer opportunities to the Gor Mahia players who impress him during the game.
"We are looking to recruit ahead of next season. We have some players who have been here on loan and have left the club and others are out of contract," Adkins said.
"(Gor Mahia coach Dylan) Kerr has asked me to look out for some quality lads in his team and you never know what might come out of it. Overall, there is no pressure, this is an opportunity to grow Kenyan football and play football," he added.
The 26-year-old lanky defender started out at Vihiga High School, before joining Kakamega Homeboyz from where he made the move to K'Ogalo.

Did Toral, Irvine, Larsson etc sign miserly contracts??

If Moses leaves after being offered a deal after 2 full seasons out injured then it says alot about him as a person imo! Most will disagree on sure but he's been extreamly well looked after with the best medical care money can buy and payed extreamly well throughout, allams ****s or not ****s....moses should atleast stay a year and repay a little!

To be honest do we really need much knowledge? Just an educated guess would conclude that the contracts offered aren't lucrative enough to keep playing staff at the club a la Davies and Huddlestone. Or do you believe the Allams are doing their utmost to retain the services of the high earners, or as I believe it is a badly managed PR stunt to save face and alleviate further hatred towards them?
