Feel ****ing old though. Was only a while ago I felt like I was young. Now I'm nearing middle age and it feels like I should be doing more in my life!
Yeah pretty similar then, I’m just about clinging on to my 20s at 28. Still act like I’m 21 though because I don’t like growing up and having responsibilities.
Been down Devon for a few weeks with some fam helping them out with the family restaurant. Just finished designing the new logo and menu. Also done a week in Barca and went Malta again as well but not done anything concrete in terms of proper travelling yet. Savings are ticking me over for a bit but I’ve gotta make a proper choice on something soon. Don’t wanna go back into recruitment where I’d been for the past decade but it’s just finding something I wanna get my head down and crack on with. Possibility of working abroad quite excites me, got mates and family doing that and they’re loving it, earning some serious dough as well, so I may look more into that, only problem on that side of things is I’m a season ticket holder so it’s whether I can live with missing games, especially at the new stadium.
Oh, Feckin’ Really???? https://www.standard.co.uk/sport/fo...harry-kane-to-fund-stadium-move-a3837201.html Wrong on so many points - no wonder he’s left the Goons in such a mess...... Keep your big Gallic nose out of stuff that doesn’t concern you, twat!
Silly old fecker. It's kind of sad really. He's seriously started to unravel in the last couple of years. Paying Ozil £350k per week to do **** all and a CL bonus to players, despite the unfortunate lack of CL football, was the last straw for the owners. He was doing too much damage to be allowed to complete his contract. He could have signed Harry Kane.....and Messi......and Maradona.......and Pele.......and Stanley Matthews, you know.
Remember how Arsenal had to sell Fabregas and Henry to afford their move to the Emiroids? Oh wait, that didn't happen did it? "Out scored more opponents than any other team in the league (24 wins) other than the afore mentioned City" Never mentioned how many goals you scored indeed...
He also appears to think that Highbury was a special place with religious significance and that the Emirates is full every week! That’s Mouser-level delusion!
RCL look away now...... These figures are just obscene and if they bring clubs to their knees then good riddance to them all. Maybe we won't compete with these wages and miss out on titles etc but as far as I am concerned our club is following the right model. It's not as if our impoverished stars have difficulty making ends meet on between £80-120k per week...
Anyone noticed the National League playoff final? Tranmere v Borehamwood. Tranmere go down to 10 men in the first minute. After six minutes they then score but Borehamwood equalize in the eighth minute of extra time (there are 10 at the end of the first half). They then score again in the 80th and win 2-1. Without seeing the match it seems like an amazing achievement.
More than any other team in the league other than the Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed bin Sultan bin Zayed bin Khalifa Al Nahyan Team. That's what "outscored" means - and Saltypool, Arsenal and Tottenham say that's complete bollocks due to all of them scoring more goals than your overpriced Stoke.
Outscored opponents mate, you know, the teams we have played against. City have outscored their opponents 31 times in the league this season so far. It's really not hard to understand.
