That's a 'bum decision' FML!!!Personally, not great.
I think fans seem pretty split. Sort of feels a bit like a "Let's see where we are by Christmas, and re-asses."

I don't think you can call our squad superior. Now we have flooded it with non-League Germans. Maddison, Gunn and Hanley are probably the only superior players. I think both squads are pretty even now. Especially when Gunn and Maddison go. Enjoy your parade. You fans need something!![]()
I think it's hard to separate Farke's performance from the performance of our "new approach".
For example our inability to score goals. We started the season with two very competent strikers, but neither of which fit the Webber/Farke long-term model. One has since left, and the other appears to be phoning in performances, longing for a summer move. Had SW/DF compromised their footballing principles and played to Oliveira's strengths, would we be looking at a play-off spot right now? And next season when we simply must have an appropriate striker, will the support players have benefited significantly from playing this season to suit the strengths of a striker we don't yet have?
In defence, we've been dreadful from set pieces and I think Farke really can be blamed for that. Whilst in general our squad lacks height and muscle, there's been times when despite having 3 tall CBs and 6ft + Tettey and Vrancic on the pitch, we've been beaten far too easily at corners. It's amazing the amount of times a new manager goes into a club leaking goals and tightens them up defensively through proper coaching. Farke needs to step up in this area. On paper a back 5 of Gunn, Lewis, Hanley, Klose and Pinto should have been pretty much as strong as anything in this division. Reality has been rather different!
Farke still has my support for now. This was always meant to be a multi-year project which has meant this season's squad have been transistional. When a few more holes in the SW/DF Masterplan have been filled then that excuse will start to sound quite hollow if things don't improve.
For some mad reason Farke has been linked to Frankfurt. Initial feeling was confusion, but I’d be happy if they paid us compensation and took him off our hands. I don’t think hel go though.

I disagree. I don't think the manager matters that much, and that's the point. This "transition" was not just in terms of weakening our team on the field, it was also restructuring the staff, and how they work. I think if Farke left, they would just employ a new young untested bloke who has to agree to work under the same conditions. I think recruitment, training, selling key players etc, will all remain. It's clear that he was highly thought of in Germany, but on the evidence of our season, I can't see why he would be being offered higher profile jobs. Letting him go would be a risk, this is supposed to be a long term project that is still in its infancy, on the other hand it's a great oportunity to get rid for free/a fee and find someone potentially better suited. If he fails in 2018/19 we will surely have to get rid, even though we won't be able to afford to and suitors maybe less forthcoming.
Damned if we do, damned if we don't. I wonder how Webber feels Farke has performed? Unless Farke gets the bullet we will likely never know. But it's all been very underwhelming on the pitch and if Webber doubts farke can get us scoring and long term up the table, he may shock everyone and let him go.
Bah!

You and your rose tinted fecking glassesWe will end up paying them like all the other financial failures
If he's coaching the players to play this way, picking the team, making decisions in the game, and deciding when to eventually give the subs a minute pointless run out. Then he is coaching and managing our team. In my opinion.Thing is we don't have a manager we have a head coach, which is a horse of another colour. So if you're judging DF as a managers as opposed to a head coach then you are judging him by a different measure to the club.
