This is most likely due to him slagging the club off to anyone who will listen after they dropped him for playing like hundescheiße for the past couple of months.

Now do you understand why I keep saying we shouldn't bother with signing him even though he's a free agent at the end of the season?

I must admit to willing Real getting by Bayern,but,man, Real's fans must have been down to trheir finger nails!
One thing we lacked that Real have in big games.....a big slice of luck!

A brief summary of Sporting CF's week so far...
* A final day loss to mid-table Maritimo coupled with a grossly inferior goal difference saw them finish in third, meaning they begin next season in the third qualifying round of the Europa League
* In response to their unsatisfactory season, an estimated fifty Sporting fans stormed the training ground to assault players and staff as well as trash the facilities
* The club's football director alongside three other members of club staff have been cordially invited to assist the police with their enquiries into the club bribing handball referees during the 2016/17 season in which Sporting just so happened to win the league

So...worth a cheeky bid for William Carvalho?

There's actually some suggestion that the assaulted players may quit the club and go on a free.
Das Bost was hospitalised and will miss their cup final this weekend, while one of the medical staff was stabbed. Horrific stuff.
 
In case anyone does want to watch some UEFA, the Europa League is streaming on Youtube tonight.
I think it's on BT Sport's channel. The same will apply for the Champions League final.
