With this going on I think gerrard is mad.
for me if there is "talk" of takeover he needs to sign on with the new owners with new funding and then take over and do the job.
If he moves in and some loon takes over and says theres no money he will have egg on face
At least Keano was offered the job at Celtic.
Keane is a ****e manager but a good right hand man, you obviously think different but he's proved he can't hack it, not many who played under Ferguson can hack it tbf so there's no shame in his failure.
It's not that there's talk of another takeover it's that Dave King broke takeover rules when he took over, he's already served time in jail for financial wrong doing yet the Scottish FA allowed him to head a consortium that ousted the Mike Ashley backed consortium, he's a shyster that's suckered the Rangers support and his board to part with more cash than he personally injected into the club.
He's a con artist so Gerrard should be very wary.

thats what i heard but i read somewhere that there is some new takeover but it could be wishful thinking.
BAscially every single red flag possible is waving on this job.
I think for sure someone of mourinho's skill at picking the next job would be laughing at gerrard for taking this one.
Half the battle to be a successful manager is pick the right job.

Could be done in next 24 hours apparently. Have the youth league finished? If not seems strange not to wait until end of season.
Least none of the reserves will join him, they won't be looking at such a big step down!

TBH you can earn more in the championship as a player than at celtic.
All the youths at kirkby need see is Jordan rossiter's current situation.
He's played 5 times in 2 years for rangers and his career is all but over.
rememebr this is a kid who played every youth level for england up to u19s.
Injuries have blighted his progress and rangers staff were incompetent to treat them. Simply back issue that put pressure on hamstrings etc.
Its the ****ing dark ages up there lads... anyone going with get exactly what they deserve.
