    My thoughts exactly.

I think the only goal I missed all last season was Cardiffs in injury time when the game was over anyway.

I already drive an hour to games, I know this isn't a lot compared to some of you, but to sit in the carpark for another 30 (Sometimes 60) minutes for the sake of seeing 60 seconds of usually crap football is madness. I've been leaving early the whole time I've been able to drive and I will continue to do so, it just makes sense.

I know it's "cool" to moan about people who leave early, I used to do it myself, but now I understand why they leave.

I hope you don't think that is a genuine equal comparison. I just checked with my pet goldfish and they said only on idiot would think that was the same! If you have a problem with being called an idiot take it up with bob. :D

Was round at the girlfriends the other day having sex. Was nearly finished when i realised I had to get home five minutes early, so I left early. Don't think I missed anything good. (Nor did she!)

Hope that was a better analogy for you.

Last season i got up and started making my way down the steps,we were losing 1-0 and there was 10 minutes till full time. This numpty started shouting abuse at me for leaving early, call yourself a fan,****** ect.
Once id had a piss and made my way back to my seat, the numpty looked puzzled, and stupid.
Just taking a piss mate i said. His mates fell about laughing at him. <somersault>

Never, go for a drink during the game. I always wait till half time now after I learned the cruelest way of all. I've never left a game early but I was a victim of thirst once before. I went during the half to get a drink as I had took a long coach journey down and felt a bit dehydrated. As I handed my money over to the woman serving me, I heard the scream of "GO ON!" I went half back to my seat before I realised I hadn't got my drink yet so I stayed. I then heard immense cheering. Feeling very very angry I got my drink and ran back to my seat for my stepdad to tell me that Deano had just scored a peach of a volley from twenty yards out, Basso had no chance of getting near it. That's right, I missed the goal at wembley. The rest have you have been warned.

I remember it well. Standing on Bunker's Hill in the days when crowd segregation was a loosely enforced principle. 4-1 down and mocking applause from the Wednesday fans when we scored a second. Then a full on charge when we equalised. A lasting memory was getting hit by a flying coin.

There was only half a crowd left at the end of the Spurs game today.

Going for a drink in the middle of a 0-0 game is very different from leaving with a minute to go in a game that is wrapped up.

I would never leave in the middle of a game unless I was really desperate for the toilet, especially not when my team are playing at Wembley in the play-off final and the score is 0-0!!!

I remember way back when i was kid and used to go with my dad.
We were in the old north stand and were trailing 0-1 to Huddersfield Town and my dad decided we should leave 5 mins early to avoid the rush as the car was parked down pickering road.
City ended up winning 2-1 and since that day i have never left before the final whistle.

I got some funny looks on Saturday - when the South Stand Steward stood at the end of our row and asked if there was a Mr Bradley here. I was to get a presentation at half time of a Fryatt shirt signed and presented by Garcia. You may have seen me and Roary Junior on the pitch if you didnt get a half time bevvy.

The only time I leave early is on night matches , as I start work at 10pm.....and have to drop Roary Jnr at home and then get to work. Yeah this pi$$3$ me off but night matches are not too often.
