Just a way of phrasing things...could mean you'd struggle to win. I'm surprised anyone speaks at all if they are going to have every word and nuance scrutinised. However, I can see that hope would disappear far easier in players used to losing than in players with lots of wins under their belt. The players have to get over that and up their game....no time for despondency. That's for fans.
That actually really touched me. They have a lot of responsibility as role models and it seems the ones interviewed realise it.
