Meyler to do one.

But we didn't know that until we played them. They weren't signed as depth players. If you'd said Stelios, perhaps I'd have more truck with you. If he wasn't already at the end of his career when we signed him.

I completely disagree but to give you the benefit of the doubt.. In the last promotion season we signed Ryan Taylor and Shaun Maloney. There is no way either was anything other than strength in depth.

We did, but we also paid £1.7m for Maloney. That’s a hefty price tag for a back up player for a club of our size.

The Cardiff fan I work with laughed at me when I asked if Meyler would get into their starting XI. He wouldn't get near Wolves team, nor Villa's or Fulhams. I doubt he would dislodge Huddlestone and the rest at Derby too.

Went there in 76 when Wee Ginger Billy was on our team and we got a draw.

We were on the Long Side, split down the middle by the iron railings, I recall some Halifax Town fans on their side of the great divide getting abused from our side because these Yorkies had chosen to side with the Clarets. So much for We're all Yorkies aren't we?

It started getting very fractious with stuff getting lobbed back and forth including a bottle or two, and then Burnley fans getting dragged out as the 'Bob Lord oot' chanting started getting more aggressive.

They disappeared up their own arses with all this, and a peaceful stroll back to the fire station ensued.

Think we had about 6 or 7 buses there that day, no vans, almost non in car.

National, some Humberside Supporters, maybe a Driffield bus and that was your lot.

Statutory bombardment with rotting soft fruit as we past Todmorden market on the way back.

No mention of the 4 young lads who went on pushbike from Hull to that game? 3 of them once good mates of mine yet only 2 were City fans.

To young to be at this game , but think we signed Bremner the day before this match and didn't play .

My lad was playing FIFA with Meyler on Monday night. My lad said he's a decent bloke who made it clear (without actually saying so) that he thinks Adkins is a bit of a knob & he doesn't get on with him. Also offered to send my lad some bits in the post. Not grilled him further as he's been in Berlin since Tuesday morning.

I tend to agree with the Adkins been a bit of a knob part.

I tried to help him sort out his audio on Fortnite yesterday. No idea whether he did or not.

Wonder if he thinks that because he isnt getting picked? Just a thought.

Harsh.
Fairer to judge him after hes enjoyed a proper summer windiw and pre-season? .... err ... yep .... small problem with that logic!
Biggest mistake hes made with us was underestimating what a twat Enob is.

I wasn't refering his management abilities, though I am not over excited with him as a manager, I was referring more to his manner, all the positivity is waring, and anyone who keeps saying we control the controllables is a knob in my book.

Realised after posting thats what you probably meant. To my mind, we desperately needed someone positive.
