Lifted straight from the Mail - most people seem to think we should get rid of Stewart, Meyler, Dawson, Marshall, Grosicki and Diomande - cant disagree with any of the results, exactly in line with anyone who had a ****ing clue about football would come up with

ps - love the name and the badge, well done to the Mail

Given the fact that most of the people like you that vote on these 'Polls' couldn't tell the difference between an arse and an elbow, it's quite fitting that it was you that posted it as if it's some sort of 'evidence'.

Well, on the basis that I was quoting somebody who said it was ****e that he was a good championship player and a poor premier league one, I’ll leave you to answer that.

Where exactly did I say he'd be a good Premier League player? Stop making **** up to suit your own agenda.

He'd be perfectly adequate as an experienced player at a newly promoted side - Cardiff as an example for next season.

He's been mismanaged, had a poor pre season due to injury. He should have had a consistent run of games for us in central midfield. Not in fits and starts - he's obviously on the naughty step. There's no other reason for him not starting ahead of some of the frankly awful team selections of late.

I do love polls such as these. The idea that clubs are queuing up to take our poor performers on massive wages is comedic dynamite. Furthermore I don’t even know where to start with the idea of selling players with 3 months left of their contract when we’re outside a transfer window.

Those people with ‘a ****ing clue’ about football, eh?

The actual question posed was...

Which Hull City players do you think should be at the club next season?

An inaccurate graphic they bunged at the end of the article for some reason...

https://www.google.co.uk/amp/s/www....otball/vote-hull-city-players-you-1310795.amp
It wasn’t inaccurate at all
It perfectly described how they wanted pollsters to vote
The instruction was ‘Using the app above simply flick through the squad by clicking keep or sell.’
So ‘keep or sell’ was a very accurate graphic

The part that was inaccurate was the headline...although you did miss out the ‘Stay or Leave’ words in the headline

Keep or sell obviously isn’t accurate when referring to players that aren’t ours to sell.

I like the fact we are arguing over a hypothetical transfer that neither the club or player have shown any interest in doing.

Meyler will probably end up in the Championship. Is he premier league class like some make out? No. Is he terrible like others are making out? No.

Decent Championship midfielder who in a relegation battle should be very useful for us currently but he is clearly on some form of naughty step. He has been poor this season, but there are games (Bolton and Millwall spring to mind) when talent is less important and ability to win balls and get stuck in is more important.

So you’re not saying he’d be a good signing, but he wouldn’t be a bad one either? Oooookay. I don’t think being an adequate player is something clubs fighting relegation look for, or even need.

Really?, I'd say that is exactly what newly promoted teams need. We've had plenty in the past in the PL - Faye, Boateng, King, Gardner to name but a few, suggest you go back and look at some of our team sheets to see we've had plenty of players in the PL written off by other clubs.

All of which went straight into our first team as they were an upgrade on what we already had at the time. In fact, with Faye, when we were promoted he barely got a look in.

In our second season as a PL team we signed Olofinjana, Ghilas and Mouyokolo. They started 36 games between them.

They weren’t better than what we already had. They added squad depth.

But we didn't know that until we played them. They weren't signed as depth players. If you'd said Stelios, perhaps I'd have more truck with you. If he wasn't already at the end of his career when we signed him.

Meyler could also go straight into the team of a newly promoted PL side. Either that or add squad depth. The only reason he's been poor this season is in my opinion down to non footballing reasons.

Not now he couldn't, maybe two or three seasons ago. Teams are going to sign players in the Summer who have been in good form, Meyler hasn't. I think Warnock is a fan, so Cardiff might be tempted, but with the money going in the PL, they'll easily pick up somebody more talented if they wanted to. I don't think it's down to purely non-footballing reasons. He has a streak of inconsistency about him, he has for a while in my opinion. He'll have a few decent games, but then have a few poor ones. This season he's had more poor ones than good ones, which to be fair you could say about a lot of the team this season. If he's determined enough, he'll bounce back, but I can't see it being with anybody above our level.

He'll go to another Championship side no doubt. Or even to somewhere like Celtic or Rangers. I think his PL days are behind him.

Meyler IMO was not the same after Ireland went out of the world cup. I feel that certainly affected him, and then there has been the behind the scenes shenanigans, as I don't think Adkins likes him as he is too out spoken. Meyler is 28 I beleive, to say he is passed his sell by date is a bit over the top, IMO given the right environment he can still do a job for a Championship side, even a lower EPL outfit.

On his own he is not a stand out player, but in a team he can do a job, as long as the blend/balance of the team is right
