God that 20 minute spell of Chelsea's the other month is getting incredibly frustrating. Take away those somewhat freakish Bmouth three points, and they'd still be right bang in this.
I’m hoping he gets his obligatory red card, when we play them, because he has been quite good of late and could give us a lot of problems. Two things I took, from the MOTD highlights, of the WHU game was that, during the first half when on top, WHU were getting 4 or 5 players in the Burnley box, something we would usually struggle against. The second thing was how, when Burnley went two upfront, the WHU defence couldn’t cope with it. I wonder if MP2 noticed that?
Amazing to think that choosing to waste arguably the best years (in theory) of his career on Chelsea's bench would seemingly be detrimental to him.
Feel for Kane for his injury. Hope he is not out for too long and Will be available for the world cup. Shouldn't be rushed back, especially not for fa cup games. See Ali went off injured too. Hope it hurt.
Was just reading that. What an animal. I’d be amazed if he kept his job now, wouldn’t think he will be on whilst City put seven past Stoke tonight.
What an idiotic and vulgar thing to do. On another note, interested to see how this West Ham situation plays our.
West Ham will get a fine, that will be it. Possibility they might have to play their next league game behind closed doors, which is us isn't it? But pretty sure the PL will bottle that and just go for a fine.
West Ham should have their stadium confiscated and be made to play on the local park. Seriously though, I would be surprised if the London Stadium didn’t take some action themselves, as their reputation is being tarnished by these incidents as well as West Ham’s. Maybe they’ll put the rent up by £1 a week...
Playing devils advocate maybe the stadium operators should face punishment? West Ham have no control over stewarding etc. Which was appalling by the looks of it. No chance of behind closed doors, what did Wigan get? I'm more interested to see if they have success in getting rid of the owners too.
As I've said, I don't think for one single second that they'll be deducted points. I'd be left utterly amazed, Being made to play behind closed doors is possible, but my feeling is that it'll just be a huge, huge fine. But if they were to keep the fans out, it'll be interesting whether it'll be for our game. Their next two homes - against us and Stoke - are massive for them. Not just because both of us are sitting right behind them, but also because on paper they're the only two nice looking games West Ham have until gameweek 37.
No chance of any more than fine and bannings imo, as I say what did Wigan get? Anyway I'm more interested in seeing if they have any success in hounding them out.
I'm sure the owners probably want out. Who wants to get that abuse all the time? It is just a question of whether or not they can find a buyer who matches the valuation/ Just like Ashley at Newcastle, he has wanted out for ages I reckon just nobody willing to pay enough.
Can't remember Wigan fans doing this to be honest. (Blackpool fans seem to do it though. Didn't they even get a final day match, possibly against Huddersfield, abandoned? As I recall, that was a fine and a suspended sentence re. a behind closed doors match.)
