Wow. This is a whole new level of melt from HIAG. Just to be clear @brb he’s clearly asking me to divulge the details about his personal life.

So no crying from anybody about it. Just want to be crystal clear about this.

 

No, I do not admit that. It isn't true that I told Sky anything.

It was common knowledge that I lived down South somewhere. Where, exactly, I never divulged. Skiddy came out with that whole "Basingstoke lay-bye" thing because I had said that my wife's car had been taken to a pound in Basingstoke, after it was written-off. I said that we had been dropped off at a service station in Winchester, waiting to be collected by a relative. On a previous occasion (and this is going back two or three years, at least), I had said that I had lived and worked in Southampton.

When I was going on about playing in a band, Sky simply put two-and-two together and made out that I would probably have played on the South Coast. He had no means of knowing whether or not I did actually play in a band (or if I was making it up, along with all the other **** that I was coming out with), and he would have no idea where I actually lived, or where my band may or may not have gigged. Let's face it, I could have lived in London or the Home Counties and gigged anywhere in the South!

Someone - I'm not saying it's you, or anyone else, because I don't know who it was - went out of his way to track me down, dig out my personal information (which I was very careful not to divulge), and make it public, the bulk of it to a special clique over PMs, and certain other bits by not-so-subtle innuendo. Stan was engaging in it just a few posts ago ffs!

Again, this is utterly incorrect.

What I said is that I had lived and worked in Southampton (although I was very careful never to specify exactly when), and that the firm that I had been with had season tickets to St Mary's, and that I did a lot of corporate entertaining. I said that I had spent something like three seasons attending most of Saints' home games. At no time did I ever say that I was a Saints supporter.

 

Never flounced just lost interest. Just got interesting again

I think people on here ought to remember, I'm the one that has had to clear up after the sock accounts, so i know them all and some the ones that still exist, but i just let them play. My point being is i never believe what someone states as there supported club, i prefer to go by their actions, and i've seen enough Saint socks to have the gut feeling i have.
