Why does nobody ever bring that up or slate them....?

I know it's going of topic, but just always winds me up that those ppl never get a slating :)

It has been discussed on here before, it's their right to get up and leave whenever they want apparently. Not something I agree with.

I've seen it discussed, but it only seems to be the ppl who leave before full time that get the stick....the people who leave 5/10mins before half time then come back 5/10mins after half time wind me up way more

The beeb site reporting Ellis Short will give the club away for free. Subject to the new owners taking on the debt. A few pounds over the 137 million mark from the 2016 accounts.

Ellis Short willing to hand over the club (but it comes with £137m+ of debt)

What are we worth Ehab?

The debts could come down slightly, Short may be willing to write off a chunk of the £68 million owing to him. Given their fanbase and that they have the 6th largest stadium at the moment they would look a more attractive proposition to a buyer than a club with no ground, less fans and debts of about £60million. If they can't find a buyer I don't rate our chances.

How's going before fukl time any different from leaving the first half early?
Because if you leave before full time you miss the part of the game that can decide the result with no time to change it
If you leave before half time it’s because the bars are too small, the process so poorly planned, and the staff too incompetent, for you be able to leave at half time, get a drink and get back before the second half anyway

No difference at all, you miss minutes of the game regardless. Leave before half time you may miss the only goal of the game, just the same as leaving before full time

I disagree
Even if you miss a goal you can still watch the time that he team have to turn that goal around. You can also cheer City on to help encourage them to either turn it round or defend it
That’s not the case if you leave before the end

Also, you can't applaud them off after a good performance if you leave before the end.

You don't need alcohol to enjoy yourself. Orvso my wife has been telling me for over 40 years. Still not willing to chance it.

Used to make me laugh when two blokes who used to complain about people standing up in front of them to support the team used to go out early and return late at half time and always leave with more than 5 minutes to go no matter what the score was oblivious of the fact that they were making a whole row of people stand up and obstruct the view of those behind them.

Given the choice I'd buy a Rolls Royce rather than a banger.

Yet hundreds of bangers are sold every day. Because they're sold significantly cheaper than Rolls Royces. Why would football clubs be any different? Of course Sunderland are a better prospect than us, no one is disputing that. That doesn't mean they should be easier to sell though. Just that they should be sold for more. It completely baffles me that so many people seem to think that incredibly basic economics doesn't apply to football clubs.
I have a Rolls Royce for sale A9 HRH it has an interesting history, maybe that will be reflected in the price

The point is that any old banger might have a history and that can have more value that a Rolls Royce. A9 HRH has a history that perhaps makes it less valuable.
The only value that anything really has is how much someone will pay for it.

It shouldn't really affect our chances at all. The price in each case should simply reflect how attractive each club would be. Example - Manchester United (big club) may well be more attractive than say Barnet (smaller club) but there may be more potential buyers with Barnet kind of money.

If Slumberland go down this season they're basically worth nothing...yes..?.... still players on contracts without relegation clauses...
