What was good to see (think Ferdinand said it but there is a party going in here) but we looked balanced, first goal was lucky but from then we looked in control
Good night :)

Good night indeed. I must say that Porto were really poor. Their front men were not able to threaten our defence and their defence were really vulnerable to every attack we made.

Quarter Finals guaranteed. Is this the year we see five English teams in the quarters? If that happens we’ve got at least one English team in the semis!

Thought it was going to be a professional game and I want wrong but Porto were very poor so we bagged five.

Next match thread?

Great performance and result chaps. Aside from the fact I’d backed you on enhanced odds to win with both teams to score and you keep a ****ing clean sheet <laugh>

Porto were ****e but they still had chances. A better team will punish our defence

Porto not attacking and us looking balanced is two very different things.

We were poor defensive during some of their somewhat limited attacks!

Well then, 5-0 away from home.

Not a bad score to take back to Anfield <ok>

Can have a nice little rest before the Hammers game now

Only saw highlights just now, but sounds like we controlled the game really well and made it comfortable for ourselves. Mane, not the best of form, getting a hatrick. Even the last few months hes still chipped in with important goals so really can't complain and his pace still causes other teams issues at the back.

Milner looked involved in a few goals which is good to see, unlucky not to score from the one that hit the post.
