Just watched it on iplayer and knew nothing about this, absolutely amazing story and I feel bad that I knew nothing of this before I watched it.

Headscarf Revolutionaries is an incredible read if you’re wanting to read about it tooI finally watched this tonight and it was brilliant.
Must have had some onions nearby because I kept having to dry my eyes.
What a force of nature Lillian was and what trauma those men went through every day at sea.
I'll never forget about this and I'm definitely going to read the books.
Really hope there is a tv drama about this that brings it to national attention.
The look of disdain Lilian had in her face for the sneering southern media was a sight to behold.
