Cardwells old man thought the coaching at City was ****ing **** and wanted his lad out before they ruined him. I'm hoping this Pennock is going to do some good
Really Chazz?
that's a big statement to make
You must know Harry and his dad very well??

So what did they think of it?yes..
But that's not my point..
I'd like to hear how you come up with your quotes from Harry's Dad or Harry for that matter?
So what did they think of it?
Your last post said you know different, so which is it?I don't know?
But obviously you do or you wouldn't of quoted such a statement?
In the past the coaching staff have done the best they could with the finances and facilities we had, not knocking them at all its just the fact we have been loosing kids who possibly could have gone further but due to our lack of investment they never had the opportunity.
Its still happening, talking to other coaches and parents City just don"t seem as appealing as say Scunny.
Just an idea but wouldn't city benefit from providing link ups with good local grassroots clubs, pretty much like hull united have done with east hull saints who have a large number of youth teams, theres plenty of clubs across the city , hessle sporting, AFC tickton, withernsea, pelican, springhead the list goes on that have multiple teams at all age groups and a large pool of local talent, seen loads of talented kids lately in the under 8's/9's leagues alone that will probably never get an eye casted over them from a scout
Well i can tell you that Dan James left because Swansea offered him a better deal. Not just money wise, but they gave him decent accommodation and mapped out exactly where he was heading first team wise. He'd met with TP and SB and both had requested he stay, but Danny wanted the opportunity to play elsewhere. Sometimes there's literally nothing you can do.
We only started investing in the youth set up last year, we now have a clued up bloke in charge, excellent facilities at Bishop Burton and a complete change in how the lads are recruited.
It's a long term plan though, we're obviously not going to get lads into the first team, within a year of setting up our first decent youth academy.
Scored last night on the telly, looked well chuffed.
How’s young Cardwell doing now?
I had the same experience with my stepson.the set up was embarrassng and Scunthorpe made them look very poor indeedReally Chazz?
