I think top 4 is far from sorted yet, Arsenal are due a good run (they always do at end of season when the title is gone) and have the attack to mount one, Spurs haven't hit St Totternhams day yet, Chelsea are ****ed if Conte stays (another Jose scenario, players down tools) and we have some very tricky fixtures left to play
If I had to guess top 4 I would go City (coz I'm a genius), United, Spurs and Arsenal probably in that order.

Jeez Luv, didn't have you down as one of the 'do one' mouth breathers.

I never said Utd were great - imo we were as bad as you were in our last match against Spurs. I just think you were lucky to get anything out of your match, and were heavily reliant on Salah. Fair play to him though, he's looking like a top class signing this season.

City obviously, Utd probably - Mourinho has the experience to get us over the line at this stage of the season. We may well not finish second, but given the form and quality of the chasing pack I can't see us dropping six points to Liverpool, seven to Chelsea and eight to Spurs. Or 12 to Arsenal for that matter.

I think Chelsea will make it into the top four - as soon as it looks like they are dropping out of the top four they will ditch Conte and bring in Hiddink or Benitez or Ancelotti or any decent manager who fancies an easy £10m for stabilising the ship. They have the best players out of any of the sides below us and City and I don't think they'll conspire to **** it up that badly this late in the season.

It's the other spot that's the question mark. I would have said Liverpool after the winter window, but if anything VVD has made their defence worse. Arsenal have stood still with their signings, doubt they will bridge the gap.

I reckon Spurs might do it - Moura has stagnated at PSG but the step down may be just what he needs, and even if he doesn't perform he may just shake up the existing Spurs players to perform better now they have some competition.

City, Utd, Spurs and Chelsea for me, Liverpool for 5th, Arsenal 6th

Couple of weeks ago I did, but if anything your defence has gotten worse since VVD joined. Given that and selling Coutinho were the only real business you did in Jan, it's hard to see any way you'll improve over the rest of the season.

I think you'll push Spurs and Chelsea hard, but lose out by a small margin.

I don't. I also don't agree about VvD. Time will tell, as always.

That's why I thought their wanting Spurs to get 3 points against United totally deluded. They couldn't work out that they could be caught. So ******ed that I'd love it if Spurs took their 4th place, love it!

I think Spurs are certainties for top 4 now, I think they are just a much better team than both Chelsea and Liverpool.

Chelsea look a side in major trouble, and for me the scousers only hope is if this current slump of Chelsea continues.

I think it's quite obvious Liverpool are looking a bang average team now Coutinho has gone, and look set to be clinging on to a spot in the top 4. I certainly wouldn't be banking on them making it though.

We've got enough of a cusion to 5th place, to feel comfortable of top 4 I think. It's not just that, Spurs are really the only side behind us who are playing well, and we'd need 3 of them to overtake us to miss out, which is looking unlikely.

To be honest I think we really should be kicking on and securing that 2nd place, and I think it will be abit of a disappointment if we finish worse than 2nd from here on.

Burnley got a draw with them last week, any side in a 1 off game can get a result.

I'd also hardly call winning by 1 goal, and clinging on with every man behind the ball twatting them <doh>

Yeah. That's why they've only been beaten once all season. Let's see how well you do next time you meet them.

So what about the back to back defeats against bottom of the table opposition that you had after the City game?

Your an average side without Coutinho mate, and you made the big mistake of not replacing him.
