BVD. I can see the CH being a strange one this year
I wonder if Willie Mullin's will chuck ol Wicklow Brave at this again. Spotted the leaders about 15 lengths at the start last year and was bang there at the last bend but his endeavours to make up the lost early ground caught up with him and he ran out of puff. I love this horse and if he consents to race this time he's a lovely ew bet at 25/1. A few ifs in there admittedly <laugh>.

Triumph Hurdle

Demopolis 33/1

He has not yet debuted here but his only race in France is striking. He won with good style, even when he was overcome in the last hurdle he came back with strength to finish. The most interesting thing about that race is that the third has won after and was third in a listed race and, above all, is that the fourth was We Have A Dream which is currently the second favorite for the Triumph, and was 3l behind. Maybe the worrying thing is that he has not run yet but I remember Zarkandar in 2011 so I hope he runs at once and let's see what he's capable of.

I leave a link with your race at Auteuil, if it helps.

Demopolis is not going to run in the Triumph. Unless he is injured I do not understand why the horse is not racing here considering that he beat the second favorite of the race in France by more than three lengths. Maybe he'll run at the end of the Fred Winter (I do not think) or maybe he'll be booked for Aintree or Punchestown. Whatever is awful start of the Festival for me.

Loving my portfolio (DK take note) but tinged with massive sadness when I still see Fayonagh in my bet slips!

The big three winners for me would/could/will be Samcro, Apples Shakira and Cause Of Causes.
Adding more bets with each winning day but only betting with the NRNB firms now.

I really like the look of KEEPER HILL for the NH Chase despite him falling last time out.

Sorry Stick but you have 2/3 of my big winners too! In terms of Cause Of causes and Apples Shakira! Just counted them on those two and my god I forgot about some of them !! <laugh>

Lads I don't want to piss on anyone's chips but a few stats from the 2017 festival which makes sobering reading for those on the shorties as follows:
- 5 winning favourites from the 28 races
- 15 winners returned at double figure odds including 25/1 Labaik, 33/1 Flying Tiger, 40/1 Domesday Book
- 3 horses went off odds on, 2 were beaten
- 11.5 /1 average for the winner
Just saying....don't go promising the missus anything lavish until 5pm on 16/3 <laugh>.

Native River very impressive yesterday. Had a hard season last year. Id rate him the main threat to Might Bite.

I reckon there’s currently FIVE odds on pokes likely to line up. They are Footpad, Buvair D’air, Apples Jade, Samcro and Altior. Law of averages suggest two should be beaten anyway. I’d be thinking the two chasers would be the most likely to fail....

I think Mr Henderson is going to have a rather good festival.I.think the hcapper will be all over Elliot and Willie doesn't have the same war chest on previous years.Happy to take a small punt on Hendo to be top trainer 5/2.
