I'm not bulling you, nor indeed am I bullying you, take a deep breath and read through your posts for this evening and then tell me you have not ranted.

It totally depends on how you read them Dave! If you put the emphasis on it, then you will get worked up! I've not exceeded "talk" at any point, yet you talk to me like a twat again.

I give up on this site. I am so tired of this kind of ****. It was really nice getting to know some of you. I'm really fed up of the petty idiots.
And I said about £3m would be the top price, if we could have got £2m for Watkins then chuck that towards someone like Marriot and yes we have been over this already.
Our team desperately needs someone to score goals we can't rely on Maddisson to score 1 every game and win 1-0 .
Also that Farke life bollocks is embarrassing especially as we are struggling to field a squad because we have so many Germans .
If I wanted to watch a team managed by a German with mainly German players I would have moved to Germany .
This forum is all about opinions and that's the point .
Dave Rick and 50s will never criticise anything that happens as we are not worthy and obviously don't know what's best for our club.
Others see it differently and this club is screaming out for a striker who can score goals to either reach the play offs or stay up.
We didn't and have to rely on Nelson , we could have got someone on loan or buy someone but haven't.
This sends out a message to the fans that we have given up trying to compete .

DD & FML Please carry on posting, as your views are just as valid as anyone else's and occasionally, people misread posts/misunderstand what you're trying to say and that is one of the MANY problems with the written word, especially in a Forum such as this.
The window as far as NCFC is closed and we've held onto JM for now and it seems there was precious little we could do in respect of Middleton, but as we all know in football there is NO loyalty (other than Gerrard and Carragher I believe) even though Middleton was on our books for the last 6 years.
Needless to say, Gers' fans are thrilled at the signing, but we'll just have to get along without him.

Because the point is to gain from both our academy and Farke/Webber's knowledge of the German market. Academy signings are cheap but high risk, and when they're signed they are several years away from the first team. If 1 in 5 U21's we sign go on to be a Murphy or Maddison, we'll have spent very well. And yes, if 4 in 5 fall by the wayside, then that's the nature of it. It's a case of trusting the club. Middleton may well be the one who got away, but am I right in thinking Toffolo is the only youngster we've let go in the last few years currently at a championship club? The club has a pretty good track record of judging when players won't make it.
When we started this process several years ago, our academy pipeline was very empty. You can't just spend for the future when the first team squad has an average age above 30, and the wages are unsustainable. So "the Germans" are the immediate solution, bought cheaply to do a job now, and be a saleable asset. Compared to to our previous dealings, if only 1 in 2 of these come off, we're doing a lot better than we were. And I'd say more than half have contributed so far.
Our Germans:-
Zimmerman - Very successful - Defender.
Trybull - very successful. Holding midfield.
Vrancic (Bosnian) - Poor start, becoming an asset, - Midfield.
Franke - Poor so far - Defender'
Hrenandez (winger), Srbeny(striker DD), Leitner (midfield), too early to make any judgement.
Fair summary of our German "failures"?
