See I'd disagree FML, I feel like the club has more identity than its had in a while. It feels like we know what we're trying to do on the pitch, even if it isn't all there yet, and there's fan support for "Farke-life".

It's obvious we have a plan to deal with the financial mismanagement of previous years, which as you say involves selling key assets, but equally we have a plan to generate new key assets, from abroad and from youth signings.

It's not always going to go smoothly, not every signing will be perfect. But even players we consider flops like Watkins are apparently worth £2.5m or so more than we got him for. Zimmerman worth a rumoured £5m? Fantastic. The last regime would have signed Michael Turner up for another 12 months on high wages!

In the plan to sell key assets and buy in lower league Germans and free transfers, I don't know why no one at board level has thought of club identity, and club relations to the fans and the City. Fan favourites, and youth team players we have waned to be given a chance for seasons just getting chucked out for free or cheap, and replacing them for hundreds of thousands with inexperienced, German, lower league players. Who so far, have been very hit and miss, with the result so far being solidly below par. You could say "well if they have released Middleton and Toffolo etc, then they can't be good enough"....Right, but Franke etc are much better because they are German and we paid a lot for them? If Franke and Husband are in the managements plans (so they don't lose face for signing them in the first place) I can't see Toffolo doing any worse a job, and we wouldn't of had to pay a combined 3-4 Million for him.

If Toffolo is sh*t, which he isn't, and came through our academy. Then why is ok to keep playing sh*t that this structure have paid for? We heard the other day about the home grown rule being a worry. I think we a pretty screwed. Most of our squad can barely speak the language.

While I sympathise with your worries, I think you are massively over-reacting.

We are in transition, we will be ready for next season, just have a bit of patience <ok>

I still wouldn't put it past the club to now post "Oh we said we'd done all our business, we just hadn't told you all about it yet..."

That Farke-Life crap has really dropped off. The football we have to watch and results has worn that right down. I don't see many at all still signing that. That was an early season thing.

Also, what's the point in trying to profit on risky German no-ones, when we have ploughed so much money into out academy to create our own! Just to get exciting players and release them on free for others to pick up and benefit from!?

If we were just gonna play poker with Foreign players, why didn't they spend the money on the team to keep us up, rather than waste it on a youth set up we just want to release on a free as soon as they look exciting!?

It's not a transition when you sell every key player apart from 1! If it wasn't for Maddison, we would be in the bottom 3! Even if we don't sell him, if he get's injured, no one will take a shot, get a shot on target or score a goal. or assist a goal.

It's more likely "Oh by the way, we agreed for Maddison to leave 3 days ago. He's gone now. 5m plus addons if he wins the golden boot."

Sorry FML, I thought you were a sensible lad with a decent knowledge of football, but you are now making silly statements about the running of our club.

You would be happy to splash £7M on someone like Marriot who may not be good enough at this level, yet you moan about lower league Germnoans who we can actually afford and who are just as likely to make the grade at this level.

We have not got any money to splash, 1950 has gone into great detail regarding our accounts and still you go on and on about Premiership money that is long gone.

Well, the whole transfer window for NCFC was so exciting. Anybody expecting a final league position higher than mid-table? With about 3.5 hours to go we still appear to have Maddison on board..................

Nope. Not said that at all.

I think after the stupid money we p*ssed away from the premiership, then headline sales the likes of Murphy and Pritchard. I hoped our club would manage the money better. I Never said go out and spend 7m on a striker. I just assumed, if we were already stupidly weak up front our club would look to strengthen. Then have weakened that position, as I'm sure anyone with intelligence can see. I said most of those lower league Germans were a waste of money, coz they have been. I never said we can go out and spend 7m on a striker. I just assumed with 1 striker in the squad who can't score, we might try and sign another striker one window. For once.

At the moment we have 1 striker with no confidence, and one non-league kid who can talk the language, let alone adapt yet.

Sorry, but I don't accept this.
Three new signings in required areas of which we saw 10 minutes of Leitner.
Nothing of Srbeny or Hernandez yet - I'm inclined to wait and see what they bring to the whole picture before being overly judgmental on the success of this window. <ok>

We'll said DH. I've given up reading FML's rants as I really can't be bothered.

For me we've moved the restructuring on another stage. The Pritchard and Jerome sales and Wildschut loan made that possible. Without those, we wouldn't have moved on at all. In exchange, we've acquired four new senior players and Edwards on loan and a reserve of money for the summer window. With the exception of Franke, the players brought in the summer have generally now settled in and are performing well. There are still some questions about a few players and we need to see what the new players can do for the rest of the season, but progress has been made. Staying the same simply wasn't an option.

Who are all these failed Germans you mention? There's only Franke that I can think of, and he may come good yet.

You keep on about previous windows that failed, well you can't blame that on Farke and Webber!

DD was on about Marriot......I said he was a good player. Hang on, I've been through this before the other day! I agreed with him, that he is a good player. I've never said we have to buy him!
