The football was dire last night, so was the pitch.
How can that be after spending literally millions on it over recent years (installing better drainage, re-laying it numerous times, investing in lamps, sacking groundsmen). And rugby is only just starting.
It's bad enough watching ****e football, but having to watch it played on a ****e pitch is even worse. And very unlikely to help our cause.

I'm hearing a pensioner was ejected from the S last night for having a camera (an exploding one?)

He has been bringing it every game for a few seasons now, nowt high-powered or technical just for personal use.

Why now? Has there been a glut of bootleg match photos from our games

Sad to see the focus seems to be on inflicting the letter of the law on unwary flag carriers or pensioner photographers.

If they can't keep the pitch in a decent quality during the RL's offseason, **** knows what they'll do when it starts next weekend.

But as OLM said, there's a lot more important issues to address first.

On a one to ten of current woes at Hull City, the state of the pitch is currently at number fifty seven.

I agree there's more important matters, but it doesn't help having a pitch that is hard for either side to play football on. And makes you wonder what the hell the point is of the millions spent on it. Just one more example of nearly everything surrounding the club being an utter shambles.
Argumentative bugger.

The SMC do seem to spend a lot on the pitch with little sign of improvement.

I thought it was significantly improved once we got those heat lamps to treat it during the winter.

Ehab's probably decided the leccy bill isn't worth it now.

That was my exact thought too.
If not, then they aren't working ..... just like the turnstiles, the footballing philosophy, Lee Darnborough, concessions, branding, communications, marketing, fan engagement, ............
