It looks like we'll find out if he's any good, a deal for MacDonald was agreed last night apparently.

Apart from amberman's (presumably made up) post on here, there's no suggestion there's anything at all wrong with his attitude.

Apart from 2 sendings off for violent conduct I'm sure he's a lovely lad.
Save a couple of £100k on transfer and buy someone who might never be able to play again, rather than spending a little more and buying someone who is already playing with a better re-sale value. Ehab logic.

Might be a fair comment but I don't know how many red cards he got in his career and what they might have been for.
Reckon Tom's played a few more games than MacDonald and there's a difference between nutting somebody and picking up a couple of yellows. Anyway, time will tell and I really hope I'm wrong.
Tom actually got two straight reds and that was just for us in the Premier League (he got two more for picking up two yellows for us the Premier League as well).

But ...... this one doesn't make sense to me i.e. Barnsley happy to get rid, us now doing things on the cheap meaning they are likely to be giving him away, not match fit, unable to get into their starting line up, health issue etc. Seems very possible that there's good reason(s) why they want rid; just hope we are not getting shafted ?
I said he we needed some spite and nastiness in this team so I'll be thrilled if this Barnsley lad is a nasty ****er.
