Pellegrino in or out?

I am back to "in", but pending future events and results I could quickly change my mind!

Back to "out" he is obviously out of his League!

I was on the fence because I saw little point in changing the manager again and I couldn't see Saints doing it unless desperate. The fault seemed to be equally shared between the manager and the team's attitude (though these were probably interrelated). I finally voted 'in' which was probably my position all along but I couldn't genuinely say I was happy. And by voting 'in' I am not endorsing MP2 as the answer to our prayers, but suggesting that we may get some stability that we need at the moment. There is nothing wrong with treading water....hopefully in top half of the table....the next step if we are to progress is a very steep one.
 
I voted OUT at the time, as an expression of frustration, which clearly over 80% of those who voted felt at the time. I have, since the turnaround which started with the Everton game, changed my vote to IN. It strikes me that a lot of others must have changed their opinion during the course of the last few games, but haven’t yet changed their vote. It would be very revealing if everyone who has so far voted and wants to change their vote did so. At least we would know whether MP2 has improved things enough in our hearts and minds.

Straight after a 3-0 defeat is not a good time to make complicated judgements. So maybe next time we have a meltdown, we can remember back to this one and how it all turned out ok?
 
In truth it was how a lot of people felt at the time...........Who could blame them.....there was a lot of lack lustre in the side. What ever mopo 2 did didn't seem to work. We have seen the majority of our side play good football under other managers, so it was difficult to accept that it was the players fault. Were still not quite there yet but we seem to be on our way...........Just one or two decent buys perhaps should put us on a good footing........

<laugh> I admire your optimism. And your faith in your fellow supporters.

But meltdowns are what we do.
 
Still very much out for me, it's a results business and ours have been very poor in the last two months.
Palace, Leicester, Everton and even West Ham have showed that a season can change direction with a new manager, The Board need to act quickly before it's too late.
No point in flogging a dead horse.

Do it before Stoke get the first pick of the best available managers.

This. The writing has been on the wall for some time now. I'd rather krumbly kelv took over as caretaker manager until we can find a suitable manager.
 
He’s been dealt a **** hand by the board, but he should still have done better in the first half of the season. He has to go now before it’s too late.

I suspect that those of who thought that a) sacking Puel was a mistake but b) we need to give this poor sod a chance have changed their minds on b).

In a "proper job" he'd be the subject of a capability procedure being mentored by someone with experience. That's meant to be you, Ralph. Oh bugger <doh>
