In all seriousness, it's pathetic management that Arsenal let him and various other players run their contracts down to their final year.
Wenger's comments suggest that he genuinely didn't expect anyone to want to leave, as there's no reason to.
I'm not sure if that's arrogance, naivety or delusion, but someone should've corrected him.
If Ozil follows Sanchez out the door, then that's a ridiculous situation for the club.

Yep it was a situation completely of our own making, ludicrous management of contracts. As the situation stands now though, we've done a decent bit of business. We've exchanged a player who no longer wanted to be here, was no longer putting in the effort and was about to **** off on a free. And we've swapped him for a top quality attacking midfielder on a long contract who will give 100% to the club.

It’s another football game to me. Yes, I want us to eventually finish above Arsenal every year. I want us to finish above everybody. A dream, I know. But that’s my ambition.

But, personally, I would hope the **** fell over and broke his leg. Whoever he was playing against next.

Having said that, wtf is your club playing at? They should have sold him when it was clear he wasn’t going to sign a new contract.

Only if it doesnt involve defending so you can add another luxury midfielder who doesnt run or cant defend to your team

They wanted to make sure he had helped them get into 6th spot and out of the FACup before they got rid

That showed the **** who's boss.

As I said, he can go to Hell after he's scored against you lot. You are 3 points ahead of us so I want you to lose your next game, naturally.
The reason we didn't sell him last Summer was because our deal for Lemar fell through, this time we've got a decent player in return for a player who we were about to lose on a free. If we add Aubemeyang in the next few days, then I will be very happy with our business this window <ok>
