It seems we are about to embarrass ourselves with a 3rd bid for McKenna. Will it actually be an increase on the amount offered in the first two same value bids?

They will just keep this story going until the last day and then say he has decided to stay at Aberdeen. Result no signings, its all in the planning.

Ok so with today being the 17th, that means there is only 14 days left of the transfer window, so that means that in 14 days & probably about 5 hours it’ll be 9:25 pm & Hull City, whatever they’re called, will be making moves to **** up their transfers in the final minutes & miss out because they didn’t get the paperwork in on time!

Yep

Adkin's keeps saying now we have a lot of players on big wages to come back, Ehab doesn't want to sign anyone because of this, unless he can pick up an up and coming player cheap, which has a profit in him if we sell him on.

Didn't think there was anyone left on big wages as they all had relegation clauses in their contracts.

This sounds very plausible. Unfortunately, for us fans, those long term injuries are not likely to hit the ground running and their impact on the relegation battle may well be limited.

The issue is, to someone who doesn’t understand football - like Ehab - then once the players are back from injury then we’re fine. And on paper that’s to an extent correct, with everyone fit we’ve got one of the top 4 squads in the division.

The problem he doesn’t realise is that a) it’ll take some of these players months to get back to their best even when fit which doesn’t help us this season b) Mason may never play again and c) no team is ever without some injuries.
