I think that was his release clause? We obviously effectively negotiate great value release clauses.......for any buying club! The Allams business acumen cannot be questioned.

Yeah exactly, it was his release clause and the only way he’d sign a wage drop deal on relegation. It was a mutually beneficial deal.

I expected to lose the likes of Robertson & Maguire.
I was hopeful that we would keep Jak- Davies & Huddlestone.
I also had money on us to reach the play offs so it shows you that I know **** all!

I'm sure you are right, as you say no one tell them how to run their business.

I suppose we should console ourselves with the fact that whatever money generated would find it's way into the Allam's pocket, so the smaller amount the better.

Or, conversely, the smaller amount means it takes longer to repay the "gift" and we are stuck with them for longer (not that this will make me give them my money).

Yeah, he’s probably off to Sunderland.

Doesn’t matter where he goes really, would be funny to see a backtrack from McInnes after saying he definitely wouldn’t be leaving this window.

I also don’t think an early twenties centre back who has never played in this division or been in a relegation fight is what we need most now.

The relegation and trouser as much money as possible plan is right on track
But why did they spend as much as they did? Toral cost money Irvine did. Campbells wages aren't cheap.
They could have spent a lot less than they did in the summer.

I personally think Toral and Dicko are anomalies, I fully believe that both Kingsley and Stewart cost far less than we were led to believe and they were actually makeweights negotiated with the sales of Robertson and Clucas.

They're watching every penny how can it be an anomaly. It can't. He thinks he's getting future value and all that bollocks.
Larsson will be on decent wages. Mazuch we paid for too.
It doesn't make sense. He could have got journeymen free agents in not players like Larsson.
Saying that a few journeymen free agents who know the championship woulda been better

They have spent minimum..Toral was Part of player deal i presume..irvine was cheap and will be on low wages. And as for campbell..Wouldnt be surprised if he was on a low wage with big bonuses. Im not in the know..im Just a pesimist at the mo
