It was a joke, our owners claim everything will happen in 24 hours and it never does.
I expect Ehab to confirm in the Yorkshire post or some rare programme notes McKenna will be signing in 24 hours for 3 pounds in advance, 8 jelly beans if we get promoted, a bag of haribo if he gets a Scotland cap and 23 pence every 6 months for two years.

There is no quality in the SPL. Celtic are probably a top 6 championship side or maybe at a push bottom 3 in the PL, the rest are basically League 1/2 teams. The standards garbage and that's why you'll get nowhere near £2m for him.
It’s a poor standard. But do you really think 800k is enough money for them to part with one of their prized assets? We are complaining about Maguire going for 15 million. 2 million absolute bar minimum, we paid that for Robertson 4 years ago. If Ehab thinks 800k enough, he is proving to be more deluded than I thought.

Yes. Robertson was an anomaly, not the norm. Robertson was younger, was named the Scottish young player of the year and was in the team of the year and had been capped by Scotland by the time we purchased him. There's quite a difference to McKenna who's only broke into their side in the autumn
True I suppose, but it’s not ironic to the fact that boy wonder keeps making bids that are getting rejected. You’ll still need to pay over 2 million to get him and with inflation over the last few years that’s about right.
Would you pay £2m for a league one player that's only played 18 games at that level?
Not in our situation no, I think we need more experience, but at the start of the season if you’ve scouted him Adequately and you think he’s gonna be a top player 2 million is nothing in the current market, irrelevant to how many games he’s played.

That’s the most annoying thing. Just stump up the cash. Stop pissing about with 100k her or there. We are in serious trouble. Although I don’t think boy wonder gives a damn he’s got his money, he will be waiting for a present or two win Bowen or maybe a sneaky sell on with Maguire and obviously the parachute payments.
The current plight of our club is lunacy, and down to one man. I’d love to know the club ‘strategy’!
