Indeed. If we're not in the relegation zone when we next kick off (on Sunday), we've had something of a result. (Although even then, it wouldn't be great news, because Huddersfield would have pulled away from us).
Intriguing how our management are allowing this to happen having, what looks like, complete faith in this manager who seems to.be hopelessly out of his depth. Seems like the board are like rabbits in the headlights and haven't a clue what to do.
The only way I can see us beating Spurs, is if we get a new guy in. The new manager trick, that seems to win his 1st game. Of course we will stick with MP, and get walloped 4.0
Well they did allow us to proceed without replacing Mane and Pelle. The writing was on the wall then. I guess we shouldn't be surprised with them at present.
I'm expecting us to lose to Spurs anyway. So 0-4 is better than 0-1, in terms of pushing MP closer to the door. I was slightly annoyed that our late flourish at Wembley last month made the scoreline look better for MP.
I too am expecting a thumping. So do I bother driving from Bournemouth to the game or do what I did for the Palace game and watch it from the comfort of my warm home - especially as I am going away with work the next day?
I wouldn’t get your hopes up about a heavy defeat meaning the end for Pellegrino - the board don’t want to act. He could’ve gone after the Burnley home game (only 1-0 defeat granted), certainly after the 4-1 defeat to Leicester, or Spurs 5-2 thumping on Boxing Day, but he survived. Plus, we threw away leads against Huddersfield, Palace and Watford, and still nothing. Totally clueless in my eyes.
