Wildschut loaned out to Cardiff City and Mr Warnock. Clearly Neil can see something in him more than DF can. When it comes to experience in the Championship then I know who I would rather rely on. Got a feeling DF may come to regret this decision.
I think today you saw that Warnock is far superior in player management than DF.

Amazing how a player who according to most on here was a waste of money and not worth a place in the team becomes a world beater as soon as we send him out on loan to another Club. He has undoubtedly gone to Cardiff as cover for injuries and I doubt that he will start more games there than he has here under both DF and AN. Pritchard wanted to go but I just cannot see why that should start a mass exodus. I also do not follow the idea that for some reason the Smiths have decided to run the Club into the ground. They have put a large portion of their personal wealth into the Club and if the Club goes tits up they will lose it. Quite clearly they either will not/cannot put any more money in so the Club will have to be financially self funded like most other businesses have to be. What is wrong with that?

Guess what, he comes on as sub today and makes an immediate impact, providing an assist (albeit against 10 men). Commentators describe him as an exciting addition to the Cardiff squad after the club had to work hard to get him. I can't help feeling it was not just a football reason to let YW go off on loan; he should have got more game-time for City.
Look on the bright side. He is only out on loan so if he is as good as you say he is we can have him back in our team next year and your wish of more game time at City will come true. If ,on the down side, he turns out to be as bad as everybody on here said he was prior to today then nothing has been lost by sending him out on loan.

Except he could be performing for us and not Cardiff.
The guy has never been given a proper chance

I cannot pass judgement on the player as I have little recollection of seeing him play - all I can do is refer to the general consensus of the comments made on here and other sources by people who did see him play. All I can do is suggest that if a week or so ago you had posted that Wildshut should be a permanent fixture in the team and we should replace Farke with Warnock, it would have been a situation of lighting the blue paper and retiring

Wildschut is certainly a more dangerous player than Marley Watkins, who has been given more opportunities, and failed miserably.
For some reasons certain players dont fit.
Becchio was another.
When you pay £5m for a player, you have to give the guy a proper chance certainly if the status quo are not performing.
Say what you like about Warnock, but he is doing a good job at Cardiff, and knows this league inside out

This is merely speculation but I value Maddison @ £13m and Oliveria @ £9m. Should Webber and Farke (and Smith) accept offers on or near these sums then we will have taken approx. £35m from sales. Just how much do we need to raise to keep us afloat without selling all the family silver? On the Delia has put money into this club scenario then I would suggest (without proof) that she has had this paid back to her and Michael when we were in the Premiership.

Are you implying that independent auditors are complicit in making fraudulent payment to non-salaried board members?

Extremely unlikely I would have thought!

Sorry, it was my gut instinct that said to me surely Delia must have had her invested money back by now. So, from your comment you seem to imply that Delia’s money along with Michaels is still invested? Do they receive an income from this investment? Will they realise their capital + interest if or when they sell?

They get a dividend from profits if there are any. She has said that they will not take out the money until they sell the club.

I actually call him Marley Van Wolfswinkel. Am I the only one who sees the likeness physically, with regular falling over, poor ball control and general ineffectiveness?

See your point but there's a world of difference to a club like ours between a freebie from Barnsley and a proven goalscorer from Sporting Lisbon who scored 28 in 55 games and cost £7m+.
One's allowed to be Bambi on ice for a bit - the other one isn't <ok>

Good point, Cromer. Still, how did he get ahead of Wildschut in the pecking order?
