Great little back street boozer near the station is the Old Cottage Tavern. Proper old school pub which serves excellent ale from the brewery of the same name. Try the Stout, it’s luverly.

I remember seeing Burton back in 1970 in the Southern League Premier Division. My Brother-in-Law played for Crawley Town in the same division, that season both teams were relegated and now they're both established EFL teams. Shows any team can make it with the right backing and management...
