Now that the annual waste of the first Saturday of January has passed us, we return to the important matter of the trip to Burton. I will be making one of my infrequent away trips & would ask the veterans of past visits for advice on street parking & which pub to quench my thirst in. At present I'm favouring the Burton Bridge Inn (trad bitter a must) which is about a 30 minute walk to the ground & hopefully the car can be parked in the estate (Sydney Street) between the town centre & the ground. All advice will be greatly received. Thanks

____________smithies__________ Furlong__Ned____Hall_____Robinson Wheeler____Scowen___Luongo___Freeman ______Osayi-Samuel____Smyth Can't wait to watch this team get 3 well earned points from good old terracing. Oh no I forgot I know nothing about team selections, playing players in correct positions and tactics, s**t need a big bloke up front to hoof it up to when were getting stuffed. On reflection looking forward to the half time pie, terracing and why Cousins does not do what Jeremy C**t did today and refuse to play as a sodding wing back.
It’s a huge game and the rare sight of a terrace. Too exciting to miss and if you’re nearly dead and therefore enjoy ale it’s great I’m told. Be sure to try the faggots and peas.
Something to consider....... Burtons' last 8 home games W0 D1 L7......as we are the club that keeps on giving I reckon we all know what's going to happen on Saturday
Apparently Cousins (tweak of Hamstring) and Smyth (knock in training) will miss the trip as injured but Baptiste (back) is OK
