why is a so called good goalkeeper only worth 10 million when the people trying to score against him are worth 10s of millions
Maybe they weren't good enough. They were not hitting the heights in the u23/development side...where the likes of Oteh, Chair, Samuel and Smyth are doing well If you want youngsters like Bright-Samuel, Oteh and Eze to get a good go at breaking into the first team then these players are not going to get a look in, best to let them go...and find a new team
They’ve been around for years, I think Grego Cox played a few games in the PL. clearly not good enough. Our squad is too big, and even though these two are 5’7” they added ballast.
Agreed, I was a bit harsh there. Hopefully they will find somewhere that wants them, and be able to make a living. Petrasso might go back to Canada.
A succession of managers didn’t see enough in Grego Cox to give him a chance. Squad has to be trimmed.
Petrasso at least looked good enough that someone should hopefully pick him up. Not sure I've seen Grego-Cox play. Obviously they aren't deemed good enough, wish them all the best though. Except if they play against us, obviously.
Not sure there's anything to grumble about really, both have been around years and through several managers. Good luck to them but we can't afford to retain players who aren't going to make the first team.
Have been told the club did go to see him Loveit, and he was good but not great on the occassions they watched him and are planning on going back to see him in 6 months time.
Petrasso might be good enough for the lower leagues. He's only 22. He isn't quite a Championship player though. G-C goes to Non-League Woking. Good luck to both.
