DALLING JOINS RANGERS

QPR have this afternoon completed the signing of Deshane Dalling following his release from Huddersfield.

The 19-year-old has inked a deal until the end of the current campaign and will link up with the club's U23 side.

I'm quite sure that when Huddersfield announced that they were doing away with their youth / reserve teams that a lot of their players were chased by other teams. Hopefully we have found ourselves a diamond that Ollie and co can polish

As long as he doesn't polish him while he's in the shower!

? They haven’t, just restructured to a U18 and a U23 team (which like us is effectively the reserves).

And how many diamonds exactly has Holloway polished while here? We have had a few promising youngsters, but they’ve not been allowed to shine properly in my opinion.
Even Smyth wasn’t a progressive and developmental choice, he was described as a ‘gamble’.

I don't normally mention players on here but there's a striker at Dulwich Hamlet who is well worth a look. Reise Allassani has scored 17 in 15 games since coming back from injury and is apparently being watched by Sheffield Weds and Fulham. The standard at that level is surprisingly good as many players released by bigger clubs find their way to that level. He's a very skilful player who often carves out his own chances around the box and is a clinical finisher. I've seen him at four games this season and he scored in each game.

Last season Hamlet sold centre back Ethan Pinnock who had come through their youth system to Barnsley and he is now a first team regular and has actually scored in their last two matches. We need to be scouting in Non-League where there are plenty of players with a point to prove...

As I mentioned last week there's now a load of clubs after this kid including Celtic and Rangers, shame we aren't looking in the right places...

Annoying that Sunderland , 200 miles away, have the foresight to get a CFC player on loan (a la Tammy Abraham).
What are our scouts doing as I have heard no rumours?

Chelsea don’t loan players to us. The fact Sunderland is 200 miles away works in their favour when it comes to Chelsea loans
