Why should we be looking for lower league players? They're obviously not good enough or else they wouldn't be playing in the lower leagues.
Sorry, I'm not biting.

As it’s just us and Leeds, that doesn’t really narrow it down.
Also, I imagine it was a very short phone conversation if it was us.

No, but given that we’ve been the only two northern teams quoted as interested, it’s safe to assume one of them is probably us.Are Leeds and ourselves the only two Northern Championship teams?
Is it because he wanted to change the name then completely lost interest when he couldn’t ?How many businesses has Assem Allam sold in his life? Why do you think that is?
If they are going to be sold then the owners ought to do it quick. It will give us time to get rid of a couple of more bits of deadwood and get four new players in. Draws are no good now we need to win games if we are to survive. If we sell and don’t buy or have a chance to buy we are shafted. The last couple of transfer windows have been a disaster. We need a good one.Still think turbo and Bowen will be sold from under adkins nose tbh. Dont trust those sneaky bastarfs at all
Correction, Ehab Allam's a ****ing disaster, totally. A useless and pathetic businessman, and a useless and pathetic football man. Once the old man's faded away he'll be completely ****ed, and it couldn't happen to a more fitting individual. What goes around...If they are going to be sold then the owners ought to do it quick. Newly promoted clubs spending £30m on a striker is unusual too!
