If Milner covered his mouth to speak to the ref during the game, has it not struck you that at that point nobody knew of the alleged racist word used [or not]. So how could LFC have told him to do it as there may be lip readers watching [or whatever you said] when nobody was aware of anything yet <laugh>

which is why i find nothing wrong with rooney either.

Every half time you watch players walk off of end of game you see players do the same to talk to each toher cos they all know the cameras are on them and they don't need their words repeated

Often its just messi saying you played well to ronaldo or whatever or messi saying to iniesta that ramos is a fool and they just don't need it getting out.

Rooney was just asking Kenny how's his gran btw... nothing sinister there <whistle>

If you watch next time a match is on TV you will see all the bench and players talking to refs covering their mouths. It is standard practice now as they all know the TV companies will employ lip readers to try and see what they are saying.

I know mate which is why I said this earlier [HASHTAG]#671[/HASHTAG] -
Really? Don't you watch much footie on the telly - players and staff cover their mouths all the time when talking, whether sitting on the bench or coming off at half time/full time. Why aren't those incidents suspicious?

Mason's a homophobe, Farhad's a racist, Anderson's wasting police time, stadium's late and costs twice as much, Fat Sam's the manager, season's over

Seriously? In 2012 and 2013. The FA have better things to do than join in this witch hunt. A stupid thing for him to have done for sure but educate him and others is the way to go. Who hasn't said or done stupid things at age 16 or 17?

I said to PJ yesterday that i don't think the FA will take his age into it, there's too much going on in the game that the FA are trying to combat and agree to with outside organisations, racial issues, homophobia, sexual assaults and grooming etc etc.
He'll just be a lamb to the slaughter as far as the FA are concerned.

If you're going to fill social media with homophobic posts then either delete them when you get some sense or at least start a new account to represent your employer with <ok>

Reactions: Mr Beej
He went to a pre-arranged holiday to Cyprus didn't he?

He went on a holiday......that’s like saying Owen was injured and not getting help for gambling. Cyprus has some brilliant workshops running to deal with racism

He wasn’t a professional footballer. Not sure that his registration would allow for the FA to punish him. If so then EVERY registered player within an affiliated league would have to be banned if using similar language.

Think that might come back to bite you: he's not even been interviewed yet, let alone charged with anything. Why would he need 'treatment'? <doh>

Can we take it then that Holgate making no public statements since the incident means he's having anger-management and compulsive liar treatment? :emoticon-0176-smoke
