Puts us in a good position though if we keep him on in the championship next season.
It seems, if you believe the Press, that who ever we are interested in there are other PL clubs interested too, making it tough for us to sign someone with our limited budget and being bottom of the table. We may have to be content with sardines.

And all of them are crap and wouldn't improve the squad at all.

Perhaps under Carlos, Baston could do a job. Certainly, neither Bradley nor Clement played systems that would have suited Borja.
Similarly, on his day, Monty could be a match winner - unfortunately, those days were getting few and far between, but again under Carvalhal, who knows?
As for Amat, I'm with you.
I’d give Jeff another go. What have we got to lose. Same sentiments about Borja, different manager & all..
Been thinking of late about the fact that the likes of Routledge offer absolute zilch, yeah Montero is not available for us. You think there could have been some recall clauses, especially with such a pitiful squad to start with..

Baston has done nothing in La Liga though since his move, he's another Clucas for me.
As for Montero, Narsingh and Dyer are better imo - although Montero has the pace to be far superior.

To have a price tag that all our loan players have then they must have performed somewhere.....So to say they are rubbish is misplaced and should look closer to home as to why they cant perform for us.....Gomis is a prime example.....
Or we have a cock in charge of transfers.
Baston and Clucas aren't worth a fiver between them and we've paid over £30m for the pair of them.
As for Gomis, he was a joke.
