Without a doubt,Green cost us some points last season, but there were also plenty of games where he got us points.Felix has cost us point too, just can't remember him winning us any.
You've obviously forgotten how Monk set up a team. Green had far more defensive cover that Weidwald has ever had, as Monk set up not to lose, whereas TC sets up to win (allegedly ). Weidwald helps us win points by keeping a high tempo up with his dynamic distribution. Green's predictable distribution just invited more pressure on us.
Correct me if I'm wrong but Felix did make the save. Having watched highlights of numerous other games from all divisions including the PL my observation is that most keepers save shots from around the 20 yard mark but rely on luck or the faster response of their defenders to clear the danger completely. In my opinion if we had scored the first goal yesterday we would have won and be pushing for the top 2. I really don't understand all the negativity.
All about opinions but mine won’t change without a big change in his performances. I believe he’s awful and people are trying their best to find something in him, that’s their perogative. My 84 year old dads been watching Leeds longer than me and he can’t believe we can’t find anything better than the useless keeper. His words not mine
Funny that as my 83 year old Dad expressed the same opinion. However he tends to just watch the highlights and read/listen to match reports these days. Having watched our so called useless keeper all season I think he's doing ok considering the criticism. He's not been perfect for sure, but I'm confident we will continue to see an improvement in his game as he continues to adapt. Just out of interest which areas of the team does your Dad think we should strengthen ?
Welcome back matey - hope the skiing was great. If you’ve had fun, I would stay away from here. Leeds losing is depressing but this place.....
Strikers but less hopeful than most we’ll get one. He’s not one bit convinced we have improved under new owner by the way
If you were a cynic you could think that sale of Wood, Taylor buys ER back, unless we get to see that cash spent on improvements to the team. Refusing to go down that road at this stage
Buying Elland Road increased the value of his asset (the club) by more than buying the ground cost. Nett spend less than nil. Every penny raked in on transfers and though the gate after operating cost has disappeared. Taken far more than Cellino ever did. Even Bates would struggle to rape us on this scale.
