Didn't get to see the match today, but did watch the 'highlights' on the telly.

Goalkeeper seems to have taken the hit for this one, but I don't think he's the only culprit. Crosser should have been closed down by either Berra or Pablo. He had ages unchallenged on the ball. And what was Ayling playing at? He was stationary on the penalty spot. The chap who was standing next to him there was the goalscorer. One of them reacted. One didn't. Guess who didn't. At least he got a good view!
We had two better keepers at the club last season than our current one. He’s hopeless

We won’t finish in the top half of the table. Chesh might as well pay up now....
Cellino will return within a month of his uk ban ending.
The fa will then try and ban him again for taking the piss. He never left...

Discuss.
Go get your head looked at,then bring my tenner to the millwall game.

You have Partick.......Eire has Barce, Celtic, etc etc:grin:
I won’t need them much longer now that we’ve taken to gigning Barca and Madrid’s finest young players for the future. I wonder has anyone who watches our youths have any updates on these lads. There was enough noise made when we signed them

Bottom of the league although hearing performances are improving. A long term project I believe?

Green had let in 24 in 25 games by this time last season. Weidwald has let in 15 in 18 games.

Weidwald is noted, even by people who don't fancy him, as being excellent with his distribution, enabling fast attacks. Green either humped it up the park & hoped we'd win second ball, or gave the ball to the defence to pass amongst themselves.

So in what way was Green a better keeper?

There’s been many games this season where Wiedwald has had no save to make resulting in clean sheets. He had two to make against Birmingham and failed. First job of a keeper is to make saves, distribution is a bonus and not the other way around
