Bad result, but one point is packed. Great goals were scored. At least it's improvement after 0 goals in 3 games. Table is looking bad though. IMAO nothing changed too much after manager replacement.
Waiting for highlights and transfer window!

Fraid I disagree .. under Slutsky they' have lost that game same as Bristol .. we aren' seeing total capitulation after the opposing teams score their first .. an individual error coat us the momentum in that game .. the player missing whom that individual replaced was brought to the club by Sluts and never played.. despite proving to be one of our better defenders.
I personally think we have improved under Adkins .. not huge amounts but with better organisation all round .. and a willingness to work harder .. sadly the Slutsky era left us with no defensive ideas and a lack of fitness

1 win in 5 for big nige
Still can't beat a non b team

Worrying..

Shows a pattern, under three different managers doesn't it.

Maybe there's a problem with recruitment.

Maybe the problem isn't the management after all...

Arf.

Recruitment and fitness.

All down to the size of a competitive squad needed for this division.

We're about 5 players short. Which is why we'll lose on Monday.

This current squad we have is going down.

Big month coming up if we're serious about staying in this division.

Happy New year everyone!

Just a few months back these match day threads would be 3 or 4 times the length they are now.

The club has got to take the next transfer window seriously, not like the last half dozen or so, and rescue the situation.

The people (like me) who were put off by the Allams years ago are obviously still away, but when results drop this dramatically then the Allam supporters drain away too.

Club in decline under the stewardship of an inheritance thicko and his stubborn Dad. Bigger men (quite literally) than Nigel Adkins have failed to tread this fine line successfully.

There is only one remedy - sell and move on Assem and Ehab.

Spend money? How is that in the interests of the shareholders' remit? Manager's objective is 21st or higher. Shareholder's objective is to sell as much of the family silver as possible whilst achieving that. Then pocket the parachute payments and wind the club up as break even attendance will be over 12k, which won't be achievable.

Reactions: Howden Tigress
Last two games, there seems to be a lot less of our own stewards and more of those (orange coats) bought/brought in. We were a ball boy/girl down too near the North Stand. Ehab probably sacked them :p

The music is also ridiculously boring now. The local music was a good idea except the songs haven’t changed in months and they get played at the same times in the same order. I hope we go back to a indie and chart mix that we used to have. The place has no atmosphere.

The cheers for the players’ names being read out were half-arsed. Still don’t understand why we read the away team out then when we’re supposed to be building our atmosphere right before kick off.

Nice to see more variety on the concourse and some deals being brought in too. Prices still a little steep though.

Attendances still have 3k added on.

Thought first half we were brilliant and then the players must’ve gone home. Shows we need to strengthen the squad though. We didn’t look fit second half - severe lack of energy and we play again Monday.

"I thought the first half was exceptional. We've gone 2-0 up, we could have been more.

"We started the second half well - their keeper made a good save from Nouha - and lo and behold one of our defenders has given a stupid penalty away and that changed the complexion of the game for me.

"You look at the league table and we need to get another 10 victories to make sure we're in the division again next year."

Them's the words of nige. Sounds like he's also pretty pissed with our defence.

Defensive reinforcements in January for sure.

That can't be all of it? Where's the bit about how positive the second half was?

The draw is such a disappointment, especially when due to another late goal. However, some positives in that the team continues to play much better, Irvine thoroughly deserved his man of the match and linked up nicely with Toral.

Aina is also play8ng better but Hector is a complete liability, how long until Mazuch is fit again?

Hector has ability, no two ways about it, but his head is a liability. there bloke seemed to have his back to the goal, going away from the goal when Hector lunged in. The ref must have thought, what's that silly bar-steward doing? I'll give a pen here...Adkins will have to have a word...
