**** off Allams. The club is dying, on all fronts, and it all boils down to you.

I don’t necessarily disagree with you but they’ve got what, something like 30m plus, coming from the second and last parachute payment, which is way more than any loss of gate and commercial revenue. Where the break even point is I haven’t a clue but I suppose we’ll find out soon. How ****ing depressing.

Well, it keeps happening, I fall asleep and we are ahead and wake up to find be blown it. It does seem from comments on here that they lack of strength in the squad is taking it's toll, and players are now running out of steam in the 2nd half.

Things need to start changing quick, as Sunderland/Bolton/Birmingham seem to be picking up.

I thought for the first 45 minutes we played it perfectly - we pressed hard (Dicko ran his socks off - motm for me although I hope one of his Christmas presents was a book about the offside rule) we forced them into mistakes and got 2 well deserved goals

We missed an open goal at the start of the second half and 1 minute later we've given a penalty away.

They became more confident and we became knackered.

I like Adkins tactics, we are just not fit enough to carry them out for 90 minutes. Our squad is threadbare and they are basically doing a pre-season with Nige now to get themselves fit.

I don't want to talk about Henricksen - however I'll just say I hope he doesn't get near the pitch again for us.

Actually on Dicko being offside a few times I thought his runs were fine, it was just that the ball came fractionally too late
When I was played first time for his run he scored
I certainly agree he had a good game

On a brighter note I had a tenner on us getting relegated @ 18/1, betfair are offering £21.75 to cash out now. Best return I’ve had on a bet in 6 months:)

I'm sticking up for no-one, just answering some of the comments on Nigel Adkins sensible answer to DB's questions about the transfer window. So instead of your predictable dig at me why don't you, using your amazing foresight and insider knowledge, inform us all what Adkins should have said ?

Wasn't that from another beautifully perfect through ball from Toral, again?

He was sensible, he suggested that the owners weren’t going to fund his targets, simply managing expectations (though it wasn’t really necessary, we already know they’ve given up on funding the club).

I guess the burning question is how much of the incoming funds City generate, parachute payment and the like, will be given to Nigel, if any? From that statement, as you say they are not using their money any more, but it looks as if they will trouser as much of the parachute payments as they can. I'm sure that if he wants any players, he will need to sell before he can buy.

P.S. There is more than likely some of the parachute payments will be needed to fund the existing wage bill,
