bowen in for Toral and keep the rest the same? Seems a good idea to me. Hopefully Growshitski is fit enough, if not put Toral on the left and Bowen on the right.

Mcgregor

Tomori Dawson Hector Aina

Bowen Larsson Stewart Growshitski

Irvine
Dicko

Should be a good un. City to win 3-1

Or give Diomande a run out if Toral/Grosicki aren't fit. Think they both got knocks? Dio can play on the wing.

Leading scorer Jarrod Bowen could come back into the Tigers’ starting eleven for Saturday’s home game against Fulham.

Bowen, who has ten goals to his name so far this season, has been working his way back towards full fitness after picking up an injury in the 2-2 draw with Sheffield Wednesday at the start of the month and has appeared from the bench in the last three games.

He’s now in line for a first start under new Head Coach Nigel Adkins.

“Jarrod’s an exceptionally good player,” said Adkins.

“Sometimes young players start the season well and then have a little bit of a blip, so maybe the injury came at a good time for him if there is such a thing.

“He’s now looking fit, fresh and sharp again, so he comes into my mind for the next two games.”

Fraizer Campbell and Evandro are also hoping to be included after joining in with the group this week.

Kamil Grosicki and Jon Toral are both doubts for Saturday having missed training on Thursday after picking up knocks against Derby County on Boxing Day, while Ondrej Mazuch, David Meyler and Stephen Kingsley remain unavailable.

Will Keane, Abel Hernandez, Ryan Mason and Moses Odubajo continue in their recoveries from long-term injuries.

Fulham have no fresh injury concerns following their Boxing Day win at Cardiff City, with former Tiger Tom Cairney amongst their ranks.

If there's ever a need for a player who falls over, sits on his arse and rubs his head, then Dio's yer man - other than that he shouldn't ever be anywhere near the team sheet

He came on during the Derby game and looked good. I'm not sure he's a long term answer and starting doesn't seem to do him any favours, but his strength coming off the bench is welcome up front, especially as Dicko has looked really isolated up top.

No subs. Assuming Toral and Groshiti are unavailable

You thought Dio looked good when he came on ? I'm not really on the level of Charon in denigrating our own players but he isn't the answer to anything

I refer you back to post #5

And I refer you back to post 7--- I have to assume that your considered evidence that Junior is the best centre back outside of the top 6 is that he turned down Bury so he could sit on the bench at Wigan - maybe he was out when Everton or Newcastle or Leicester phoned - I suspect he can't understand why Leicester didn't sign him seeing as how they bought Maguire who his dad farmed out to Wigan so he could play him instead - who knows

Although he isn't ever going to be th answer, I've always though he looks much more effective when starting a game as opposed to coming on when we're chasing a goal
