The best little free gift I got was from the kennels I put my dog into, they gave me a round coin, with their name on it, the size of a pound coin, and it work s a treat in these supermarket trolley things.

Lad just arrived back at Sunderland, no private hospital , too complex a condition. He's in until 31st Jan at least. It's his birthday today, happy days, truely happy days. Just having a Southern Comfort, a large one.
Jack's still in as he has an infection, but he's vigorous and in good hands.
You see Xmas in a different light when you are in the hands of the NHS - it has it's problems but the people are not a part of them.

My daughter and her baby are doing well, and at least coming early meant she was born in Hull instead of London!
