not sure if this has been on before - thought it was interesting

Thanks for putting this up really interesting. Some nice pictures of Carter and Revie also, and of the beloved Boothferry Park. Thought it was interesting, a bit of "day jar View" saying volunteers were asked to help weed the pitch and got a complementary ticket for doing so, fast forward to 2017 Ehab stopping divotors getting complementary tickets.

The following few clips, courtesy of Boothferry Legend, are probably already on this thread, but worth putting up again.

At approx 3:20...not too many players managed to beat Gordon Banks twice in such a short time like Waggy did against Stoke in the FA Cup 6th round. Sadly we lost 2-3 that day.

Some autographs I managed to obtain at the final game at BP. Waggy had invited me down before the game to meet some of the ex-players. There's also a signed copy of Tom Cortenay's book which Waggy signed for me as well.

Raich talks tactics

Doubt he was asked to wave to the fans on demand. " Carter, Carter, give us a wave."

People weren't so needy or infantile back then.

Unless my memory deceives me wasn't PT the first manager burdened with this millennial chore?

One autograph that I never managed to get was Waggy's I, and other lads, always found him to be rather impatient and unhelpful towards us. An interesting autograph you have is that of Dave King, who along with Jock Davidson, Les Collison, Billy Wilkinson and Alan Jarvis were the total opposite to Waggy.

Got it a few times as a nipper.

Nicotine- stained fingers, sometimes with a cig in his mouth.

Different times like.

I got his book signed by the man himself, by turning up at Golden Ball in Air Street when he was the landlord.

And got a free pint for my troubles!:emoticon-0167-beer:
