Nah, he was a bit of fun. I don't know what he did to get a ban mind.Mind. blown. Pattie was a real person?!? Probably best for his mental health if he doesn't return.
It must have been pretty bad, I suppose. It's a very tolerant board.

Had a quick look on the saints board and apart from this silly **** they couldn't rate him any higher. Really well thought of by them.Landed himself a plum job at saints with an embarrassing amount of riches at his disposal for both league one and the championship.
Yet managed to fall short on both occasions....coming second.
Nauseating,cliche riddled press conferences.
Been Found out since leaving....he’s poor.....and will be again at Hull.
He achieved the bare minimum he should have at Southampton.
The way people hold him in some messiah like status at my club Saints is quite embarrassing.
I wish him well however.

He was just being a supertwat on loads of threads and had plenty of warnings before the eventual ban. It's a shame to see anyone banned but he really did push it.Nah, he was a bit of fun. I don't know what he did to get a ban mind.

As opposed to yourself, a very well balanced individual, with a chip on both shoulders.not part of the in-crowd

Arf.
Amazing what a good coach can do in a few days. Nige was constantly making small adjustments to players positions etc throughout the game as was his assistant.
Long way to go but anyone who went today could see a different team mentality to previously.
Onwards and upwards.
He simpered. We have one game and all of a sudden all our problems are solved?
Glad to see you never responded to one of my other replies to your posts for the last two weeks as I was right. All of a sudden a new manager wins his first game and you respond.
I am delighted Nigel Adkins won his first game, and you can tell his positivity is exactly what we need. Even in press conferences some of it is rubbing off on me.
Does that means we have got the last three transfer windows right? No. Does it mean all of a sudden we have a balance squad that has been put together with a specific system in mind? No.
We won a game. Brilliant. The club is still in a terrible position and that is after receiving over £500m in income since the Allams have taken over.
Slutsky didn't do well, but if you want to continuously bury your head in the sand and claim everything is fine with the club fine, I am just being a realist.
I wish Nigel Adkins all the luck in the world and hope we win every game this season. However, my views remain the same and one game won't change that, the evidence of the past three transfer windows is still there.

That's all well and good, but somewhere down the line we need to push the Allam family to one side and get back to football. Celebrating the anniversary of 'die when they want', embracing dialogue with someone whose name is publicly apologised for as being a four letter word, it's all become too much of the wrong kind of focus, more of an obsession. If dialogue must be had then none of this is constructive.
The transfer window was what it was, a badly balanced squad was the result with too many unknown qualities in it. That was the fault (it would appear) of the owners and anyone else who was involved in assembling it. But then they belong to the coach, the team shaper and selector, the one responsible for skills and tactics. That person was Slutsky and he was woefully short of the mark; it wasn't just results, it was his whole demeanour and abject lack of understanding of what was needed.
We've got a new coach and proper assistant, their whole approach to the game was more structured and professional. It deseves comment and focus that isn't constantly peppered by Allam criticism (worthy or not), as that only pampers to the attention seeking fools and plays their pathetic game to the full.
Everyone is entitled to their own view and I understand the frustration and dislike of the owners, as I share it, but the preoccupation with them has become destructive to most things around our team, not least the match day enjoyment.

I know the squad isn't all it could be.
I know the Allams haven't spent the money and are taking it back.
The whole point is slutsky didnt get the maximum out of the players at his disposal.
The last three windows!! Ffs get off football manager.
Specific system in mind!! Oh ffs teams adapt all the time.
if you didn't go you won't get the difference Adkins brought to the team. Constant moving of players, advice from. Him. And his assistant. He must have called the players over four or five times. To coach them.
Are we out of the woods? No.
Would we be ten points higher with Adkins in at the start of the season? Yes we ****ing would.
I see Nigel Adkins didn't play Evandro in this holding midfield role Chazz keeps asking for, I wonder why....
I didn't celebrate any anniversary, and my focus was soley on the football side in my post. I have not tried to push an agenda I looked at it from a logical point of view, and from a football point of view.
Slutsky was woefully short of the mark and I have not disagreed with that, nor will I. My views are simply that Leonid was set up to fail as will Nigel Adkins be in the long run. Do I think he will improve us? Yes he will. Do I think it is a good appointment? Yes i do.
My post was defending my views, views that Chazz has only actually countered following one victory. I have responded to him a number of times over the past month and not once has he responded as I was right and he couldn't argue his point. He then picked up a post and responded following one victory.
My point is this, we can't claim to have turned some miraculous corner right now following one victory.

If we start losing under Nigel I wonder if the anti-slutsky lot will be anti-Nigel or finally accept that perhaps those higher up at the club have actually had a negative impact on us.
I think most people agree about the owners , but I think Slutsky had to go , I'm wondering if that makes me anti-slutsky or
just a realist about our league position

Some people act as if we'd be top of the league with a different manager. I think differently.
