It’s been recommended by manyarmarked for my winter home viewing which starts next month.

Like many others, I like a full-on binge on a good series. I’ll probably get through seasons 1-4 by Christmas, so will need summat else for January.

Bloodline was my last binge-series. Anyone else seen that show?

Just started watching it. Imagine my delight to hear my favorite band doing a song from my favorite album for the theme tune.:emoticon-0103-cool:

Season 1 was brilliant imo.
You enjoying it Bri?

Two episodes in and it's alright, not hating it, not raving about it. It's clearly working up to a few things so more than happy to stick with it as it's not bad so far. Only two episodes in though, only takes one blinding episode(pun intended) to set the whole show off.

Never seen it. Nor game of thrones or any other such tosh. I've never played call of duty or FIFA. No intention of doing so, but if you enjoy it Billy, crack on. I'm a Luddite <ok>
Game of Thrones is in my opinion the best TV series ever.. I have never watched Peaky Blinders, but believe it is about gangsters which has never been my cup of tea..

It's good that people have different tastes.
I've tried Game of Thrones but just can't stand it.
Watched a few of Longmire & quite enjoy that.

Not a fan of dragons and elves and all that bollocks. Breaking Bad is still my all time favorite. Nowt has come close for me.

It is low key about it at least, it's not like traditional fantasy like Tolkien. I think its gritty realism is one reason it's so popular. That and boobs.

I can't decide between Breaking Bad or Banshee for top dog, could be either. Definitely one of the two though.

No Elves in GOT.. I watched every episode of Breaking Bad and really enjoyed it..

I've got nowt against elves in particular it was just an example of the fantasy genre which I don't like. I tend to prefer things which could actually happen rather than a drama made of things which are impossible. Walking dead being the exception but that's become bang average.

Nothing beats The Sopranos for me. It changed TV. The writing, the acting, the comedy, the drama and the soundtrack showed everyone that TV didn't need to be dogshit. This glut of weighty TV that we're getting now is done to David Chase.
