There are too many people on here who want us to fail because they are not in favour of the current manager. They are traitors to the cause and should suck it up and get behind the project.
Spot on We have too many fans (not on here) that are deluded and will not accept that Hollow is inept. Some idiot tweeted that we can't blame Mackie for their goal as he wasn't even on the pitch! I am not joking. Hollow is taking us down and we need to stop this before it's too late.
I like Ollie and it's not his fault that we have so many injuries. It's his tactical decisions that I question. The team has fight thanks to him. Let's hope that's enough to keep us up.
Stroller that is rubbish. People don't want us to fail....We are failing! If this is a project, then something is seriously wrong with it.
It's not us the fans that are being over ambitious. Our very own manager only said this a mere two weeks ago ...
That’s the long and the short of it. It’s hugely frustrating but I can’t think of any manager we could afford and who might want to come to a club with zero transfer budget and who would have a chance of radically improving things with the fit players we have available. Although I’m no expert on lower league managers, which is surely where we would be shopping. At least the players are manifestly trying hard, which we couldn’t always be certain of. Time to flip the coin and have a Holloway special 5 or 6 game winning run. After which there would probably another dismal winless streak so we can all get miserable again.
Over ambitious (sorry Nines I replied to the wrong post) Overall record: 16 wins in 54. Currently 2 wins in 14. No win away for 17 games.
There is no alternative. I have major reservations about Holloway tactically, but I think he is exactly the right person for the straitened times in which we find ourselves. The players that we have are plainly giving their all, and that's maybe the best we can hope for right now. We have had a series of defensive injuries that would have crippled any club, but only a few weeks ago beat the top two teams in the division. We have possibly the best keeper in the division, a midfield three that many would envy, and a rising star at centre-back. We also have a lot of youngsters that may well come good in the future. We are not going to get relegated. Get over yourselves.
I am really not sure what any manager could do with such a heavy injury count in the defence. To have so many players out long term gives him little chance to get a settled pattern. ...and it is not getting any better in the next few matches.... You all talk about him chopping the tactics and formation around....I think he struggles to get a five man defence out consistently....From what I have read the u23 are also suffering similarly with injuries in defence. I would love to see what Ollie can do with a stable squad...The club knows this is happening so don't get your hopes up about him being sacked Sent from my STF-L09 using Tapatalk
If it's at all encouraging, the bookies still think there are six worse teams than us - for now. As far as December goes, if we can't win at Birmingham then surely we must be in serious trouble. Edit. Millwall should be winable too.
I keep hearing injury...injury...injury The players have not all been injured during his atrocious record. maybe some are right in that we cant afford to bring in someone else? At this rate it wouldn't matter if we hired Jude the cat because We are going down with Hollow in charge. If people cannot see this then I don't know what to say. Bad times ahead
Give it 3 weeks RTID Queens Park Rangers v Leeds United Birmingham City v Queens Park Rangers Queens Park Rangers v Bristol City Ipswich Town v Queens Park Rangers Millwall v Queens Park Rangers if we don't get at least 7 points from these games we will be in big doo doo
It's good of youa, as an anti-Holloway fan, to post this rather positive report of the team and Olly. Will our luck ever change?!
