Aye and Mills, Sinclair, Heskey and Vassell.

Maguire is potentially superb and Walker is a very good RB, Stokes is massively improved this season and has been close to the leagues best. Bertrand is again very good but then you are comparing back up players to first choice aren’t you?

I’m hoping some from the younger teams step up as well, and replace some of the lesser ones.

First 11 looks very strong, if we have Wilshere and anyone but Hart.

Harry Winks is getting a lot of hype, I'm not too sure about him. CM is up for grabs, most places in fact, there's lots of time for form to change. On current form Ashley Young plays, that'll probably change once he gets his new contract!

I’ve not seen much in Winks yet, but he’s very young.

We just need a ball player like Wilshere, if he was fit on form and not a moron we’d be so much further forward.

Never ending if.

That Phil Foden at City is supposed to be a great player and we've got Angel Gomes coming through as well as all the other youths who've done so well for England this past year or so, the next WC in Qatar could be good for England.

Unless ISIS blow everybody up.

I know that many feel detached from the England team, but I for one can’t ever get enough of tournament football.

Going into this one with the best squad since ‘98, but lowered expectation so it should hopefully be less frustrating and maybe enjoyable.

Just been looking at the stadiums, and fair play they’ve done a smashing job them Ruskies.

Anyone care, interested? Thoughts and hopes? Anyone brave enough to be going over?

I can’t look past France and think that we should be looking at quarters, and even better for the following Euros given the performance of the young lions teams.

It’s the pinnacle of football for me, I love football and a World Cup is waited for every 4 years, love it, love it, love it
